Quality is known to be a bit suspect at that level in Germany. 

It's only really England that has depth/quality outside of the top two divisions which is why reserve teams are banned unlike Germany, Spain etc.

Is the English third tier better than the A League these days though? Maybe the top teams but for instance Keogh came from the Championship to the A League, Mooy went the other way and got promoted. Those are top level A League players,  but still I don't think that the A League quality is as bad globally as most people think.

We will see how Ball goes for us I guess...
