Last season was boyhood dream stuff.
Signing for one of the biggest clubs in world football, training with some true super stars of the game daily, being an important part of a young BM II team who won Liga 3, and a very fringe player for the first team who won the treble. Dream start to his overseas career.
This 2nd German season a big contrast. Loaned out to another club, where he effectively has to start over and would be step down in facilities/resources etc, Covid, 2 sharkty weeks in NZ hotel quarantine, maybe a family bereavement, playing in Liga 2 a step up from Liga 3, and being a 'Bayern player' probably a bit of a target for some big bodied grizzled Liga 2 veterans.
He likely will never play again for Bayern, but hopefully comes out of this tough 2nd season a better player.
