Sure but if something was to be organised would the ones that are the core, that do the social media, run this website and have the Nix office ear actually back it if someone else started it. Because without that, it'll fall flat!
I can never get over the people who have an expectation that other people are obliged to do their work for them.
If you want to start a "rebel" Nix group, do so. Facebook and Twitter are free. If enough people are pissed off enough with the people who've been doing this thankless job as volunteers for ages, they'll follow you. But the "Fever elite" don't owe you jack.
Sure but people don't know me from Jack either while they are in a position and have represented the fan base at times but much easier to keep that nice friendly position by not rocking the boat. Notice only Tegal is the one to make any real comment here but rest are surprisingly silent on this venue change on their own forum.
There was a big discussion between a few people about it on twitter. Differing opinions, as I said in an earlier post - that’s the beauty of the fever. We aren’t the RBB.
I’m on the side of disagreeing with the decision, but am not personally inclined to organise a whole protest - I don’t have the time (I already volunteer a lot of it to football and fever stuff), and I don’t really think it’d be that effective - like I said earlier I think I a dozen people would walk out, some wouldn’t know what’s going on, while the rest would stay. But again like I said in an earlier post, if you feel passionately enough about it and think it can work then by all means go ahead and organise one. Literally nobody is stopping you.
Also another thing I said in an earlier post (I’m really just repeating myself and you’re clearly not reading at this point, so I’m out) while I’m pissed off with the decision, I can also see how it came about. We got a bonus game when the Canberra game fell through, and while it could have been better communicated they did say 2-3 would be taken away - I believe another venue also fell through before eventually they would’ve lined up QBE. So while I’m pissed off, I also see how the unfortunate situation came to be the way it was.
