I'm also fully aware that being an All White/playing for Colorado under Anthony Hudson is not an automatic mark of quality

Even if Wynne has just been named in MLS team of the week, and Colorado tracking okay in MLS?

The Phoenix would be better off with Bill Tuiloma, Elliot Collier, Jake Gleeson, Stefan Marinovic etc. Especially a quality keeper without losing an import slot. I assume though these players are a lot better off playing MLS than for Wellington?

You could argue that before the MLS kicked off Collier and especially Tuiloma would get more minutes at the Nix, but as of late both have been playing really well and getting regular minutes so thats not entirely valid anymore. Gleeson and Marinovic probably wouldn't give up being the starting keepers for decent MLS clubs though

In saying that though Gleeson is only on about 150k, surely we could tempt him home if we offer him 200-250k? I know thats a lot of money but guys like McGlinchey are on way more at the moment and do   f  u  c  k   all. A great keeper makes a huge difference, and out of Marinovic and Gleeson its probably Gleeson who would be more likely to come back
