Minor correction, McGarry last (and only caps) played for the AWs in 2019, and Roux was last in the AWs squad against Socceroos in 2022, after being a long time absent. Only really in the squad because Kirwan had done his knee. Could change this week, but neither agruably current (and certainly not high profile) AWs.

But yes your point stands. Watch/hear the blanket media coverage of the NRL Final later this year which will yes likely have a few Kiwi internationals involved past & present.

ALM GF certainly huge news back in our OFC neighbours Vanuatu. They had their PM there, watching their boy Kaltak.
