Surprising that those players cost that much. I'm mindful that this is the same organisation who has said Zawada is out for a month when the Phoenix haven't even got scans back yet, but I'll take it on face value.

Sail & Lewis would have been on okay coin, I'm guessing when they penned their last Nix contracts they were established AWs. And they have basically been replaced by cheapest journeyman Aussies in Duncan & Al-Taay. Conchie in for Urgarkovic. Josh Laws had 3 seasons at the Nix, so likely got upgraded at some point?? Don't think Domey is telling porkies.
Apart from Duncan, Al-Taay & now Salas (loan deal) all the new signings this season were cheap Weenix kids. Hence cue all the angst in pre season that Chiefy had signed absolutely no one, and the Nix were set for a lower table finish. How wrong was that cloud of gloom.
