Be good to get an update from the Nix, on how far away Ball is from becoming a 'local' rather than taking up a visa spot. Read somewhere that the Nix wage bill this season is $1M less than last season. Which might explain Dome's statement that on a 9K crowd, the club break even on game day. Think it was 9K rather than the always quoted 10K of previous seasons.

Some large crowds to finish regular season (is a game at Eden Park against SFC in March that could bea bumper) plus at least 1 home playoff game - might yes give Welnix enough cash to try keep Zawada. Plus transfer fee offers could come in for at least 2 or 3 of Paulsen, Surman, Payne, Rufer & Old. Look how CCM cashed in last off season, after their unexpected title success in 22/23.
