It's all way too early to say. Salas has been in NZ 5 mins. Honeymoon phase. Has his wife/partner even arrived yet? He may be a dud (I think not), or be brilliant and then get all sorts of other offers from the ALM or elsewhere. He'll be motivated for the Nix, kiss the badge and all that, but he'll know these next few months are a great shop window for him, as a guy who's never been out of Costa Rica before.
Like a few before, once he starts visiting the brighter lights of Melbs & Sydney, and cops a few windy days in Welly - he may be looking around the league at other clubs with some interest. That's if yeah he proves a class act, and ganders some attention. All way too early to say. He & his esposa/novia may love the 04.

Do not underestimate the importance of having Costa Rican community around, if they are looking for a longer stay away from their home country. It would be normal to need that if they have never lived abroad. That is much easier to find in Australia than here, all other factors being equal.
