LBS doesn't need physical protection aka Kruse.
But yeah his mins need to be managed and he'll need an arm around him when games don't go so well, he makes an error etc
Case in point that bad giveaway that lead to Auckland scoring in Derby 3, not long after he himself had scored a lovely goal. He woulkd have been down about that moment. I'd be confident the Nix staff, and older players will look after him.
