Not a great advert for the comp that game. 

In general we had no plausible route to goal. At least we were much better defensively than last year. 

First game of the season, I wouldn't read too much into it to be honest. 

I would rather take the defensive solidity and build from there any day of the week than be served up the porous nonsense we've become accustomed to over the years.
