It’s bold if it works and you look like a hero. But if it doesn’t work it’s terrible for team morale.
I wouldn’t have dropped Piper tbh, he wasn’t that bad during Newcastle match, just not clinical enough. He adds a point of difference. Maybe he’s being rested due and its minutes management.
The other 2 I can’t say I disagree with. Sheridan has been okay but not against mixing things up in that position.
I agree. Even though his execution was below his usual standards last week, Piper created a lot and caused chaos.
And I think two strikers was working well for us. A single striker with Najjarine behind him doesn't give us much kapow up front.
