The game was excellent and the comments are mostly fine. As per normal spoiled by the usual ignoramuses who wouldn't even know what the laws of the game looked like, never mind know them, showing aforementioned ignorance by their comments on the referee.
Excellent refereeing performance - at least on a par with the standard of playing performance.

I know nothing I’ll admit and I’m fairly ignorant- but excellent refereeing performance? Are you sure? I’m open to hearing about your reasons for thinking so.
I thought he got the pen right, but offered very little protection to us and particularly seemed lenient on the WSW midfield. They committed fouls on Ball, on Pennington and others and this seemed to be a deliberate tactic which hurt us in this game and has hurt us this season. They tackled from behind with little to no attempt to get the ball. They brought the player down as we started counters. Are those not usually yellow cards?
When the weather is wet, the players have to be careful. Studs into the ankle at pace is a red in most leagues and the weather isn’t an excuse. If it’s dangerous, it’s dangerous. If you headbut a guy in the face, surely that is dangerous play? We’ve seen plenty of cards for stray elbows.
I mean David Ball leads the league in yellow cards. That doesn’t seem correct or fair to me, but again clear up my ignorance with your explanation…
