As so friggen ugly notcsyre whats happened to the style of football Chief keeps talking about but its about time we saw it.
Also very disapointed to hear of the shoddy treatment of Ball didnt realize the Phoenix would do that to some one who has been a loyal servant. Realize players move on and fall out of favour but somehow i just expected more especially when he was asked play in way he wasnt torally familar with last season.

Re David Ball, I think to be fair the Nix are possibly one of the most accommodating and forgiving clubs in the world when it comes to mistakes, poor performances etc and staying loyal/giving players opportunities. But at the end of the day it's a business and if you're not good enough you don't get to play. Be nice if the club could clarify what's going on exactly. Maybe they want to invest in the future and give the minutes to the kids which would make sense.

I remember thinking how useless Josh Nisbet at the Mariners used to be a few seasons ago and couldn't understand why on earth they kept playing him. Think it was the days where they got the wooden spoon and we hammered them 8:1. Well, a few seasons later the kid lifted the premiers plate and a-league trophy with the team... There's hope yet.
