Can you explain why you love the move from sky stadium. I’m not sure I understand how this is a good thing.

Barring the double headers of course, I'm loving the fact that they'll be out of Sky Stadium. Smart move from the club that. Although I'm intrigued to see where the remainder of the home fixtures will be played.
Decreased costs for starters, and with suitable grounds for expected crowd size. Hopefully this results in a better atmosphere and an enhanced experience for those in attendance. Also, I'd rather see a nicely packed 'regional ground' any given day of the week over a 90% empty Sky Stadium. Suffice to say, if there is sufficient demand to see the team play, then I'm also happy to see them revert back to Sky Stadium - should the option be available of course.

I would say viewers would be closer to the action as well, but given I've never been to Newtown Park or Jerry Collins Stadium, I'll reserve judgement on those particular calls.

A step backwards in my opinion and so soon after the women's world cup!

I mean it’s the same issue the men have had with with crowds 6-11 thousand. The stadium is expensive and often busy with events. Game day should at least attempt to break even. Crowds of 2 thousand are going to sound much better close to the sidelines than rattling round an empty box. First day was 5k with a double header, but I think that was the largest.

Great if you can guarantee the same crowds as for the women’s World Cup though!

Edit: see someone’s said that above. These are footy clubs without club rooms?? Maybe someone can convince Garage Project or someone to set up a tent? Bring back the 433! Club or someone to lay on a supporters bus from pub x what with the wind and the rain? I’m sure there’s some ways around it. Maybe check with the club?

Are you guys the women’s equivalent of the Fever Zone?
