The pod are joined by Fairfax football reporter Liam Hyslop to discuss a fairly busy week in the "offseason". The Phoenix switched off late to lose their FFA Cup match, Western Suburbs took out the Central League in style, the Chatham Cup quarterfinals are this weekend and we chat with Liam about his series on youth development in the Wellington region.

The Nix have got their preseason underway, the pod dissect what they saw in Darije's first hitout against Western Suburbs. The pod share their 5-letter teams, and the usual Kiwi's Overseas and local football segments are back.

The pod are back after a week off, and raring to go! The club have signed Goran Paracki, and are holding an event to unveil something early next month. The pod accept Jason Pine's challenge of picking their best Phoenix XI with a twist, the Chatham Cup quarterfinalists have been found, and we chat about the club vs school debate in junior player development.

The pod are back for part 2 of their chat with Richard Parkin, head of comms for the Phoenix, to chat everything about the upcoming Phoenix season including new coaches, players, staff and fixture lists.

In part 1 of 2 of this weeks podcast, the pod are joined by Phoenix head of communications, Richard Parkin, to discuss the All Whites 4-0 loss to Portugal, the campaign as a whole, and compare it to how Rich's native Australia did.

The All Whites have put in a couple of very different performances at the Confeds Cup, and the pod are still confused about what Hudson is trying to do.

Back home, it's Round 4 of the Chatham Cup and Mirimar have a home game!

The All Whites rounded out their Confeds Cup buildup with a disappointing performance against Belarus, we preview their chances against Russia in the tournament opener. Back home, the worst-kept secret is out, Darije Kalezic is the new Phoenix coach, and the pod are relatively happy with that. There's also a new Chatham Cup draw out and we wrap all the action from the local leagues.

On the eve of the new Phoenix head coach being named, the pod look at who should be on their shopping list for the next season.The pod also looks back at the All Whites match against Northern Ireland, and discuss whether Hudson will learn from the 1-0 loss or not, and lament the 6-0 drubbing for the Under 20's at the hands of the US.

The U20's have made it into the knockout stage of the World Cup by finishing a remarkable 2nd in the group, we review the matches against Honduras and France and look ahead to USA USA USA. Meanwhile, Hudson's named his Confeds Cup squad (with a somewhat notable omission), and the rumour mill about the new Nix coaching team continues.

The pod are back and celebrate their 100th episode by chatting about the new (but unnamed Phoenix manager), the U20's shitty performance against Vietnam at the U20WC, and the first round proper of the Chatham Cup for 2017.
