Wouldnt have said they outplayed them but the certainly ha their moments. Tech got lucky in my opinion when Mosgiel had a penalty decision turned down which from the stand looked pretty clear. not the best game to watch until the final 10mins or so when Mosgiel pushed for the equaliser and pegged Tech back in their own half. Hard to believe the students only beat Q'town 4-2. saw the central boys against cavvy last week and they are a dreadful team!

Can anybody tell me why Football South cant get the results in the Sunday Papers,
Yep some big games this weekend Cavy/Tech should be a cracker Mosgiel should undo GI but will be very close, GI for what its worth are a hard team to beat and will suprise teams this year.
Roslyn should prevail over the magpies but we always struggle against them, must be a mentle thing

On a perfect day for football,Mikes Prems were transferred from the Gardens to theCaledonian to play Northern. With several players unavailable and the bench full of pimply faced youngsters thiswas going to make for an interesting game.Northern played a very defensive game, and did well tostem many of our attacks, ourfinishing wasnt near as goodas what it should be.Burgee was kept quiet unitilearly in the second half.Northern doug deep kept to there very basic game plan, on another day wecould of ran away with it.Towards the end of the game Northern got the equaliser after a defensiveerror.Tristan was given a Red for apparent incorrect use of the Queens English, much to the shock of all around who heard nothing.. Interesting to note that theNorthern goal keeper was only cautioned in the first half for his same pottymouth issue. Player of the day was awarded to one of the most under ratedplayers in the league Sam Enright, pic above.Looking forward to next week when all team will be up and running.

Whatever happened to credit where credits due? This is terrible reading

Judda any word on who put this on paper

had a read of the latest programme before & noted an obvious omission from the caversham page, seems all the other teams at cavvy managed to write a report apart from the first team? at least the guy from tech wrote something!

I know despondent Caversham coach Richard Murray was unhappy with his team's inability to hit the net but Whatever happened to credit where credits due?REDRUM2012-04-16 17:12:52

Fizzing.....let me guess you have never played outside Dunedin and other than Rich Murray and the likes of Malcy Malc and probably somebodies dad in junior football you havent really had much experience to judge if he is an excellent coach or not?

Don't be so mean Redrum. Fiizzing speaks a lot of truth. Like Rich Murray is quality. What's wrong with that? Do you see any other National League coaches wearing a hoodie and funny shades? That takes quality of the highest order son.

Having been coached by a large array of dunedins coaches I know what is the best and I rate his style from first hand experience. If you don't agree you can jog on redrum.

The real question is can caversham get through the Techincal backline this Saturday. That's all they have at the moment including burgess upfront

Love Rab's report this morning

The answer for Caversham to attack in numbers that will force Technical on the back foot, with Ant Hancock, Anton Ross and Harley Rodeka aiming for the all important first goal.

Can't imagine any of the above to cause Technical any trouble , maybe Ant to sneak one late as he's the only decent player The Sham have.

"Its a country derby between Mosgiel and Green Island out on the plains at Memorial park, and while Mosgiel was tipped pre-season to be a contender for honours, it is the Island that is unbeaten and fizzing."
