I don't think you need to beat us Leggy.

I expect by then you will have booked a spot in UCL and be more than 3 points away from whoever might be a place above you

so your players can just relax and think about a holiday (I only want ehat's best for them)

You could start with 3 points tomorrow. That would certainly help you as well as us.

It would keep my son happy too, him sharing your strange affection for MU.

I hope we might be able to oblige!

one nil at home to Liverpool (Dawson's 1st goal for us)

again well deserved

now in 15th, 4 points clear ... we need to keep going

So Leggy, we did our bit for you, now looking forward to seeing what we can take off you on the last day

You must hate us.  What a lose-lose situation that turned out to be - I guess we weren't to know that all 4 other crucial results were to go against (both of) us.

At least you know what it's like to stay up.

I must admit that quite a few times before that disaster,  i recalled the 4-1 thumping you gave us at our place 5 years ago

I expect i owe you a few beers by now, and sadly am likley to be in the frame to increase that debt next season!

Is a Huddlestone Howitzer some sort of code for the stuff Livermores been snorting up his nose ?

Lets hope you don't go down. Now we are in Europe there are calls for LVG to give all our young players a run.

if it's your under-14s we might scrape a win

in may 2009 you sent your reserves over the Pennines (for the last game of the season) and we couldn't beat them, but that time Newcastle were below us at kick-off and it stayed that way ... so Phil Brown sang us a song

cheers LG, it seems that many Hull fans including me are steeling ourselves for disappointment but that is probably the wrong thing to do

hopefully the croud at the match are more positive and the team go for it with a bit of self belief

United are ripe for the taking, if your players are desperate enough to stay in the EPL.

Lets make an agreement. If Newcastle aren't winning we'll let you beat us. but, if the arse are losing we get to score 6 or so goals against you.

If that's what "winning the transfer window" does for you then I'll give it a miss in future.

I'll be watching the out-door with interest.

what are your thoughts on who should stay and go Tigers?  Specifically with regards to Steve Bruce....

Marquee

i like steve bruce - so he can stay ;)

though fudge knows how he failed to keep us up

i'd like to hang on to Chester, Brady,  and Robertson - if Bruce will give him game time

looks like Dawson will stay -which is good

Derby loan has me slightly interested in Ince but I wonder if he is really a team man (I'd want him out wide - he is too gutless to be in the box)

I should want to keep Elmo

we'll need to sign a striker or 2 to replace N'Doye, Jelavic, Hernandez (I'd love to keep Jela - but we won't)

Huddlestone can go or stay - I'm no longer bothered

I think quinn has/will re-sign, Meyler will prob stay,

sad that Mc Shane has gone

be interesting to see what Diame will do, i expect by the time you read this he will have found a new club's physio to be his friend

(i'd like to keep the two-legged short-term version, if he still exists)

I'd like to re-sign George Boyd

I still find it weird that Bruce is still in charge there. He is still in charge, isn't he?

Huddlestone seems such a frustrating player, but you think he would be able to dominate in the championship. He has never had mobility (I always thought it was over-rated) but his passing is excellent. Teams that play with great energy (Derby) quite often wilt at the end of the season after playing so many games, so I am thinking that his static, "the centre circle is my playground" style will look better and better as the season goes on.

If you guys can keep players like McGregor, Dawson, Brady, Chester and Elmohamady (spelling) you should be in a decent position.

Yep, Steve Bruce is still at the helm. I'm ok with that - probably an old fashioned approach but I like his personality so I'm ok with not pressing the panic button.

Huddlestone will be good if he can be botheredat this level. time will tell.

McGregor - finished last season poorly but Steve Harper (who is so laid bag it's wonderful) reckons he'll find form again.

Dawson - committed for the season - pleased about that.

Brady - Norwich might nab him - shame if they  do.

Chester - he's the key for me, a big statement if we can hold on to him.

Elmohamady - think he'll stay (touch wood) *taps forehead* as would Sir Stephen of Geordie-land.

Also want to hold on to Robertson - a quality attacking left back!

Expect Jela to go, i do rate him and think he'd kill champioship defences, oh well .. we are Hull after all ;-)

I know it is the "silly season" when it comes to football stories in the papers so you take everything with a grain of salt, but if this is true it is the display of an extremely large pair of balls:

Steve Bruce has threatened to quit Hull if he is not given the funds to take the Tigers back to the Premier League

perhaps so,

but relative to the size of the rest of him, they may not be truly enormous
