And did you?
Leicester City
No, like I said, I don't have an account and I wasn't near a TAB yesterday. Rest assured, if I had put money on it then it wouldn't have been a draw
So either Spuds lose or the Foxes beat Everton on Saturday.
Spurs need a win to keep it alive. I want Leicester to win the league, but hope Spurs win tomorrow morning so Leiecester can win it while they're on the pitch.
Just saw the TAB odds for this game up the top. Firstly, why are there two and why are they different? Secondly, they seem pretty harsh on Leicester's chances. They have only lost 3 times in the PL this season, Man U have lost 9. I can see why Man U might be slight favourites (given form, home ground advantage, and pressure on Leicester) but not overwhelming favourites like the TAB has them ($2 for the win vs $3.70 for a Leicester win?)
get in on it then
Eden Hazard:
2015: Scored the goal that won Chelsea the title.
2016: Scored the goal that won Leicester the title.
Well done Leicester and thank you Chelsea for preventing Spurs from winning it
Well deserved, been the best team for a full 12 months.
Fudge yes. What a game. What a story.

JAMIE VARDY'S HAVING A PARTY
Well earned and deserved Leicester. Chances of Raineri every having to buy a drink or meal in Leicester ever again? Nil.
Couldn't have happened in better fashion.
Just amazing.
Massive congrats and respect Leicester - very well done!
couldnt have happened to a nicer team.

Changes football and even sports debates forever. If say Burnley have a great start and sit top in November next season noone is going to be able to say "they'll fade away" anymore. "Leicester won the Premier League" is now going to be the default response to every inconceivable suggestion sport. Even though they've had it won for a while it still feels a little unbelievable that it's happened.
Interesting piece of trivia I just found. Read they are the first new top flight champions for 38 years so I looked up the 1977-78 season out of interest. Brian Clough's Nottingham Forest won their first title, and Leicester were relegated.

Another piece if trivia: the following season Nottingham Forest faced European Champions Liverpool in their first Euro challenge - and knocked them out. Then went on to win the thing! So we can now hope Foxes draw winner of Barca/Real/Bayern/Man C first up - and do the same. Then also go on to win the thing (lip-licking emo).
Be interesting to see if they keep their team together too. Big clubs and big money will be coming for Mahrez, Kante and Vardy, especially the latter if he has a big Euros too.
What an amazing story, and thoroughly deserved, as they have definitely been the most consistent team over the whole season. With the promise of champions league football, the chance to defend the title, and the Thai money, hopefully they should be able to hold their squad together.
awesome stuff. My only regret is that no kiwi was part of this fairy tale

Just an aussie.
who is that?
who is that?
I rs kon Chris Woods could claim some of this. He left a releagtion threatened Leicester and they then went on to win the league. Perhaps it was providence?
Desperately grasping at straws.....?

His late equaliser in the opening match last season vs Everton secured a point (their first of this spell in the PL) that gave them just enough belief to fight back from last to avoid relegation. You could say he set the platform for all of this.
Even more desperately grasping at straws.....?
Without Wood, Leicester would be in League Two right now.
Suit from Deloittes saying on UK Sky News today there's every chance of Leicester getting into the world's top 20 wealthiest clubs BY NEXT SEASON!

Well apparently if it wasn't for this guy, they'd not even be in league 2
Leicester v Everton is live on TV1 at 4-20am on Sunday morning. Will be an amazing atmosphere there. I might watch it on Plus1 at 5-20am
From F365, a writer to their mailbox;
Just had a look through my mails this season, both those that made it onto your page and those that did not. Shows the emotional rollercoaster of our season!
July 2015 – Predicted we woulld push onto the next level (meaning mid-table)
August 2015 – Joke email about us fighting for the Champions League after our strong start
September 2015 – That Arsenal side are very good, they were by far the better team, iIthink they’ll win the league. We’ve picked up a lot of points though already, hopefully that will be enough to comfortably reach 40. That Sanchez is brilliant.
October 2015 – Still near the top, we’ve only played the ‘easy’ teams so far though.
November 2015 – Vardy has broken the scoring record, what a time to be alive!
December 2015 – We are top at Christmas, we’ve just beaten Chelsea, this is brilliant, it isn’t going to last though obviously.
January 2016 – Still top of the league, we’ve now played the ‘big’ teams as well.
February 2016 – We’ve just beaten Man City and Liverpool in consecutive games. Brilliant.
February 2016 – That Arsenal are a horrible team, we were by far the better team until the sending off. That Sanchez is a cheat.
March 2016 – Not sure my nerves can take much more of these 1-0s, this might actually happen…finally starting to believe
April 2016 – Even Jonathan Moss can’t stop us doing this, we are going to actually do it.
May 2016 – We’ve won the bloody league!
That's pretty bloody awesome.
Really enjoyed that trophy presentation. It really is hard to believe.
From that in comment in 2008 to the crowd's goal celebrations at the King Power Stadium this season being picked up by scientists monitoring earthquakes in the region and registering as earthquakes on the Richter Scale:
Good news as Captain Morgan signs on until June 2019.

Chilwell signs a new 5 year contract.
Although the talk was all about whether or not Vardy, Mahrez and Kante would stay, Chilwell has been rumoured to leave for ages now, hot property amongst the big clubs apparently.
Re-signing him is pretty significant I think.
Well done on that and the Vardy signature.
Now can they do the same with Mahrez?
Leicester sign Poland international Bartosz Kapustka.
BREAKING: #lcfc sign Poland winger Bartosz Kapustka on a five-year deal.

Kapustka is 19 year old and was signed from Cracovia. The central midfielder scored 5 goals in 35 appearances last season. In 11 appearances for Poland he's scored twice. Quite a high number of appearances for such a young lad. Another great prodigy found by Leicester's scouts perhaps?
