New manager announced in the next few days. I see we've signed Crainie on loan. That'll help the defence.

Frankly, Stewart & Rehman need to be released asap. They are soooooooo bad they make Michael Jackson appear normal!

Jergen Klingsmen & Les Ferdinand are the latest trwo names to join the list of wanna be's. Les has now got all of his coaching badges and turned down the job at Bournemouth after applying for it. So long as Ray Wilkins, Stuart Houston, Alan Mullery (rip) don't ever ever ever get appointed again, we should be ok. Just need to win that first game to break the run.

It's pissing me off. The players are not treating the fans with respect with them playing like limp wristed, balless, numpties. You make your own luck in this game. We have a much better squad than last season, yet they are playing much worse. FFS fans pay 20+ quid to see some footie with passion and effort.

They need to look at the Phoenix, these guys don't drop thir arse, they keep trying for the full ninety hence some decent results. Absolutely F'd off with QPR this season.

Hiya mate!  I've had network problems at work so has taken me a while to reply but the Pilgrim game was an unlucky one for QPR.  They played better then Plymouth, hit the post at least 3 times and I LOVE Loftus Road, reminded me of Waikato Stadium.  Argyle did a smash and grab, but it was a great game.

He's just signed an extension to his loan. I am told he's doing extremely well. Now that we won our first game, lets see what happens for the rest of his loan period.

I live in Australia now and have been able to watch both of QPR's sky shown games on foxsports. I must say Hogan has impressed me. He has quick feet a very nice touch and can link up well with the strikers. Sometimes the end product isnt there but the lad is 19 and still has alot of time to master that side of his play.

I would love to see his deal become permenant in January, think Curbishly would sell him?

Well to balance up the team I'm prepared to sign a short term deal as left back cover.  I last played about 15 years ago for a Wellington Olympic social team but have looked after myself so the team will now be:

Moss, Cantona forever, O'Dor, Dodd, Old, Daniel, Johnson, Ferrante, Elrich, Coveny, Brownlie with substitutes of Spoonley, Lonegunman, Hard News, and Paladini

Couple of the subs in there for when Griffiths goes crazy with a blade!

There was a time when I played Striker/ CF, but played a few as a CD or RB as well. I'm up for it, well maybe the first 5 minutes anyway....... I ad some serious competition though, Clive Allen, Steve Wicks, Bob Hazell........

I've got a copy of the 1982 FA Cup Final programme (QPR v Spurs) in my hot little hand now (showed it to a Spurs fan mate at work although he wasn't born at the time of the game!), and I'm sure you'd love to see QPR with a line up of similar quality today (maybe not exactly the same guys as Glenn Roeder is getting on a bit)

Hucker, Fenwick, Gillard, Waddock, Hazell, Roeder, Gregory, Currie, Allen, Stainrod, Flanagan (sub Micklewhite)

Thanks for signing up for the team, make sure you wear some sort of protection before Griffiths goes for you, and eat before going to the ground in case Jardel gets all the pies.....again.

QPR's been in the news alot this week here in London.  Mostly due to your old heathro runway that was the artificial surface that was Loftus Road.  Of course its now thursday morning and half of London's crying because of the crap stuff that England tried to pass off as footie last night.

Watching QPR vs Charlton live, QPR has just gone one up!  Dodgy goal, shouldn't have been given for fowl on keeper.  Interesting for me due to that fact that I've watch both of these teams loose at home to Argyle.  Three losses in a row for Charlton.... hmmmm disco_mart2007-10-30 04:10:39

I'm watching it too. QPR deserved the goal though, they ave had most possesion and ave come close more than once...QPR dominating the game, defense has been good...I dun like their owner though, he looks abit dodgy to me, his wife is hot though.

I think the Charlton fans are getting bored coz I am pretty sure I heard them chanting. "I wish I was in Brazil.

QPR appoint former Napoli boss De Canio<!-- end pagetitle -->
<!-- begin text11 div -->
<!-- begin left column -->

QPR have appointed former Napoli and Siena boss Luigi De Canio as their new first-team coach.

<!-- new alias = AUS_england_eng2_story_300x250 --><!-- new key = 334+story;kvpage=story;kvcc=AUS;kvsection=england;kvleague=eng2;kvclub=334;kvaid=477009;grp=9879615 --><!-- Tag // Tag for network 605: ESPN TN // Website: ESPN SC Keyword Site // Page: All // Placement: 300 X 250 (1181107) --> <!-- End of Tag -->The 50-year-old succeeds John Gregory, who was sacked four weeks ago on Monday, and has agreed a contract at Loftus Road until the end of the 2009-10 season.

Mick Harford, who led Rangers to two wins and two draws as caretaker manager to guide them off the foot of the Coca-Cola Championship table, turned down a coaching role at the club and has left with immediate effect. De Canio has also managed Udinese, Reggina and Genoa and notably kept unfashionable Siena in Serie A for two seasons before leaving last summer. New Rangers owner Flavio Briatore had been linked with a number of Italian coaches before settling on De Canio, who takes over with Rangers lying second from bottom following Saturday's 1-0 win at Charlton. 'I am very excited at this fantastic opportunity to join Queens Park Rangers as their first-team coach,' De Canio said. 'For me it will be an honour to work for QPR, a club which is backed by Bernie Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore, two businessmen with an incredible track record of success in sport and other fields. 'I would like to thank them and I will not disappoint their expectations. I am fully committed to the project and I am looking forward to getting to work with the players in preparation for our forthcoming home fixture against Hull City on Saturday.' Rangers chairman Gianni Paladini said: 'The club is going through a phase of total restructuring and the appointment is the first important step in our long-term strategy. 'De Canio is a highly-motivated professional whose dynamic and aggressive approach fits perfectly with the image and philosophy of the new management.' Ex-England striker Harford left his role as assistant manager at Colchester in the summer to become Gregory's number two, and he had expressed his desire to take on the permanent job. 'We offered Mick a role within the new set-up and we're disappointed he has turned this down,' added Paladini. 'He has done a fantastic job since he arrived and his contribution will never be forgotten.'

That last sentence has to be one of the oldest cliches in the book. Hartford was doing ok. Be interesting to see what happens should they team not win their next 2 and draw 2 - to match Harfords record.

I think this is a BIG mistake, he has no knowledge of the Championship League. Mick Harford did.

If he doesnt win 2 and draw 2 or better, I can hear the booing already.

Whilst you'll be hoping that the new manager effect kicks in, i'll put my faith in the footy mad website,

CMON CITY!!!

FootyMad's prediction ...

The away form of the The Tigers has not been the best, though the Footymad panel sees them pulling off a narrow win on their visit to Q.P.R.. Away win

It just gets better -

From the Hull Daily Mail website >>>

PHIL Brown insists QPR's Italian revolution will hold no fear for Hull City after gaining "insider info" from Mick Harford - the man Rangers axed four days ago.

QPR sit second bottom in the Championship and sacked Harford on Monday, favouring untried Italian Luigi De Canio to revive their fortunes.

The former Napoli and Udinese coach takes charge of his first game in English football tomorrow when the Tigers travel to Loftus Road.

But Brown has sought advice from De Canio's predecessor in a bid to plot the downfall of QPR and insists the Tigers have no reason to fear their opponents.

He told the Mail: "I've spoken to Mick Harford on two or three occasions this week to pick his brains on what's been going on at QPR.

Of course if your lot get up for the game LG and co, I may regret my foolish banter, but right now

I feeling good about this one. Okocha, Marney are back and Folan might be on the bench.

CMON CITY!!!
