Ipswich 40 wins Norwich 39 wins - pretty damn close in the games between the two sides.

It will be a shame that we won't be able to go past Ipswich in the overall head to head stakes next season.

Boro v Norwich..my team of nearly 50 years versus my late father in laws team..sori sir but Im hoping we win this time.  Cmon Boro.  will get live updates off a site  as I don't trust these "free" streams.  Some funny one liners on it.."The only thing that will stop Boro getting to Wembley is a traffic jam on the M25".

Cmon Boro...

Hey Boro4Eva,

A good safe site to watch the game via UK Sky Sports is www.time4tv.com - And then just go to the Sky Channel that is showing the game (Just check UK Sky TV listings) but would imagine Sky Sports 1.

There is only one advert to close after 30 seconds and then you are clear, I've used it a lot this season.

Nope, no account required Bor4Eva.

The first 30 secs of the stream will have an advert or two on the page. Wait 30 secs and then look for small grey 'x' which will either be in a corner of the advert or maybe somewhere inside the image.

Click those and the ad will disappear and then you are sweet. (Sometimes the same advert may be onscreen twice so need to press the 'x' twice)

Avoid messages that say 'Click here to close' etc and you'll be all good.

I find that site really good and easy to use.

Boro coming back in patches. Still think our defence is likely to cough up a goal. Always a sesne of vulnerability there.

No way Boro will come back into this, Norwich are looking way too steardy.

Well, we won. Boro played the better stuff in the second half but we just sat deep and defended well enough.

MOM for me was Cameron Jerome. He's been great all season.

Well done Norwich and supporters.

As a one off game it was very disappointing. As a season it was a huge turnaround. Needs way more creative players next year.

Strange plan to turn up 3 days early then late ...

Sort of like Nix really....I am blessed with two similar teams.

Game wrapped up in the first half eh.

Great pace from Norwich in the opening periods and once the 2nd goal went in, they definitely executed a good game plan to keep Boro out.

Ruddy didn't really need to make any exceptional saves that I can remember?

Must admit, I was happy to see the Canaries go up - Just don't like Karanka and his attitude!

Still, feel for you Boro4Eva as a fan as losing in a play off final is the worst way to end a season, especially when you guys were top and still think the decision to send the Keeper up cost you both in terms of final position (As a draw would have put some degree of pressure on my boys) and also just general momentum.

And congrats Liberty_NZ - see you in the Big Time!

Cheers...the last 7 or so games tho showed that we were not up to being able to beat teams in the top 8 at that stage so had accumulated points early against the easier teams. One off game just didn't work. Havent seen a full game this season so was interested to watch. Not overly impressed with the style..lacked pace and Abdomah was the only pacy creative player. Hard to leave Bamford out of starting 11 but he didn't impress today.

Big improvement on last years tho.

It's only been two years since we left for a wee holiday over in the Premier League, looks like we are back

Hopefully we'll hang on to a few players to make for an interesting match when we do meet.

As a Tiger says hello, this Cherry will say goodbye.

Farewell to the Football League, we've been together a long time... Mostly it's been sharke but with occasional flashes off goodness and a couple of seasons of brilliance.

We are off to the new lands above, who knows how long we will be away but I have no doubts that we will meet again.

As a canaries fan, I leave the Championship with a heavy heart. Some of my friends think I am crazy as I think the Championship is a better competition than the EPL. The top 10-12 teams are competitive against each other (generally), the game is quick (but sometimes with a number of silly errors) and quite skillfull (but perhaps lacking stratospheric skill levels).

No doubt we'll be back down some time soon.

If only we had coverage of the Championship here in NZ. I'd be watching!

All the best to your teams next season (except for The Binners of course)

I think the Championship is a lot more even and competitive than the epl which is in danger of becoming a 5 team league like the spl was a 2 team league for so long.

Tyrone Mings off to Bournemouth.

I know Norwich City fans aren't meant to like or respect any of the Binners but I think Mings is a fine player and been a fantastic guy for their club. How many other players would buy replacement shirts for those who bought a new season strip with the wrong number on it?

Hopefully Bournemouth realise what a good CB they have on their hands (not a very good LB tho) and he gets the opportunity to kick on.

I would have loved to see him come to Norwich (as we have a shortage of overall quality at CB) but that was unlikely to happen.

Silver lining is that Tommy Smith has less genuine competition at CB now and will almost be guaranteed a game along with Berra.

Yeah good signing and does seem to be a genuinely nice fella too.

Pretty happy with our transfer business so far.

Mings

Boruc in goal signed permanent after on loan last season.

Federici from Reading to push Boruc for number 1 jersey.

Distin from Everton as some experience to tutor our young CBs.

Atsu on loan from Chelsea - MVP at African cup of Nations but didn't quite fire for Everton on loan but hopefully will push on this season.

Joshua King from Blackburn, stupidly quick forward or winger.

Currently our frontline is looking VERY fast with Wilson, King and Atsu.

AND - strong rumours that we are still in the hunt for Charlie Austin... If they are to be true it is between us and Newcastle.

Personally can't see it happening BUT he has lived in the Bournemouth area before and trialled with us from non-league when Eddie Howe was first in charge but couldn't sign due to transfer embargo. Then Eddie signed him while at Burnley so we'll see!

Define a "5 team league"? Or even a "4 team league"?

3 teams have won the league since 2005. Before that, 2 teams shared the league for an entire decade.

So if you're arguing for inequality then you could say it has been a 3 team league since 1995.

However, the league is trending further towards equality rather than the opposite direction.

The same four teams populated the top 4 for all but one season in the period 2002 - 2009, yet since then, the top 4 has changed every single year. Only one club has finished inside the top four for all of those years, and that club has not won the league in that period (Arsenal).

It's getting better, and I'd say it's in a better space for competitiveness than the German or Spanish leagues which are the best comparison.

I think the EPL is getting itself into a position for a European Super League and those top 4 or 5 will be involved, the EPL will probably have their reserve teams playing in the EPL so that they can keep up their fitness and speed. Meanwhile, the also rans will stay also rans.
