Yeah will be a training setback this week to Foster. Jennings likely be back for the Giants this week, so Darkwa will be downgraded to backup.

Finally some positive-ish news: Eli Rogers lost his turf toe "O/Q"  ohh the lineup possibilities... Tis a shame Coates and co have all but cannibalised his role...

Isn't Coates dealing with issues this week?

[quote]Sammy Coates (finger) didn't practice on Wednesday.

Coates was hampered by a lacerated finger in Week 5, though he still managed to catch six passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns. Wednesday he was seen wearing a "sizable" cast on his left hand. Coates will be a strong fantasy play if he suits up against the Dolphins this week, but his status can't be taken for granted.

hard to believe how bad the broncos looked. Siemian was terrible, I know he's only back from injury, but he had the arm strength of a small child. Bronco's defense had a fairly pedestrian day too! Not a good start when I'm marked 28pts behind in my matchup with NP, really could've used a TD!

Watching the game it felt like the Broncos were selling everything to stop the run, it was baffling, just baffling.

As for the offense, they couldn't get the run going which has been the basis of their game all season, and that made it a lot harder on them.

Though SOMEHOW they still had a chance to win the game, even after conceding the safety....

Booker can't be far away from being the number 1 back, surely?

agreed, was crazy they persisted with CJA, when Booker looked so much more dynamic on his 5 carries (averaging 9.2ypc)!

If CJ's 3 biggest carries (And a TD) hadn't been called back on penalties by Fowler, D.Thomas & some OLine back-up then the story of his game would've been a bit different.

Now Booker has looked good, but he's still a rookie. I'm not a fan of Anderson, never have been, but I'm not sure he has been that bad.

You know some days, you just need some luck...I've had none in my last 3 games.

Sp far just one RB/WR in to double digits, give up a FR pick for Coates who spends the whole time on the field doing nothing and then Dalton who is on the bench scores 21.9, Phi D/St with 11 points and Boldin with 13 :(

If it makes you feel any better, I left Ajayi on the bench. 204 yards, 2 TD - 36.2 points

Join the club, outside of my QB this week and my Kicker (woohoo), I'm a dumpster fire. A long season, but get a sinking feeling I might be picking top3 come season end, Reed's injury was just the icing on the cake, the last kick to an already well trodden crotch.

On the plus side: Seahawks won, and atleast I can go back to watching them without the guilt of fantasy football implications any longer!

Edit: And if the Yakcalls go all the way, I can lay claim to issuing them their first defeat...!

Thanks Jono, didn't help the Billikids that Big Ben got injured. Think he'll be looking for a new QB next week.

Yeah, saw Big Ben went down.  Haven't been able to follow the games much this week as I was in Melbourne for the weekend and drank about a third of my body weight in beer.  Started to feel like a human again about 10pm last night.  Can't rely on Bortles to do much, so I probably am in the market for a QB.

It got sooo close for you...a win by 1.2pts haha

I also got home with the Floyd TD! Fitz with all the yards, but Floyd got the only Rec TD

Haha, Old man Palmer. I reckon He's transitioning towards a game manager, sort of like a poor man's Peyton of last year. DJ is carrying the team big time. Fitzpatrick looked terrible today too, Bet the jets are loving ponying up the cash to bring that chump back!

Edit: Fitzpatrick has looked terrible all season & looks like Palmer's hamstring injury might've just been old man cramp..!

Compared to the likes of Bortles and an injured Ben he does.  What would you want for him?

Bye BYe Eric Decker....

@RVacchianoSNY

Decker will need 6 months to recover from hip surgery. When he's off crutches he'll have shoulder surgery. Recovery time for that - 8 months

so some good news for Decker owners.... *sigh*

Eric Decker (shoulder surgery, injured reserve) underwent hip surgery on Tuesday.

The hip procedure has delayed Decker's shoulder surgery. He can't have his upper body operated on until he's off crutches. The shoulder operation comes with an eight-month timeline. Decker is looking questionable for training camp next summer. Going on 30, Decker is due $7.25 million in 2017. He remains an above-average receiver, but depending on how far the Jets fall this year, perhaps they'll move on from Decker in the offseason.

I can't see him being in New York next year no matter what. (Unless he goes to the Bills - THen he'd actually be in NY)

I'm thinking it could be an Arian Foster type situation...where he gets an injury payout from Jets (Can't just 'cut' a guy on IR), and then who knows where to from there.

yeah, such a long turnaround, and rehabbing both injuries will be tough, even with the lengthy projected time frames. I guess the positives about Deckers game are his hands, size (at 6'3 & 215lb) and positioning rather than blistering speed, so could possibly still  be effective well into his 30s assuming he recovers alright.

Definitely could perform well as a slot guy as well, which can greatly extend a career, is a pair of tough injuries though.

What Happened: Week 6 Edition

This game was close all the way, both QBs had good games, a few players did nothing and then on Monday Night it came down to a pure battle between Michael Floyd & Larry Fitzgerald, Fitz received all the yards, but Floyd pulled in a Touchdown late in the game and that was enough to see the Boars home for a 4-2 record.

This game got out of hand as Brees, David Johnson, Gronkowski & Tereelle Pryor just ran all ver the Seanucks to tie these teams up in the midtable at 3-3. The Nucks are hurting with injuries and it got worse this week with Decker having hip surgery while on IR for a shoulder injury.

Pretty much every player on the Troopers decided it was time to have a bad week, and this showed as they managed a season low 61.8pts, even Gio Bernard would be considered a disappointment with 11pts given some efforts this season. Lamar Miller & Coby Fleener led Suspension to a good score, and they'll be hoping the issues of Aaron Rodgers come around, and that Big Ben out doesn't hurt Lev Bell.

This game was a lot closer than it should've been, but it was a top of the table clash as the division leaders went against each other, Kenny Britt & Brandin Cooks helped set up a good battle here, Christine Michael & Cam Newton carried it on towards the end, but it came down to Matt Forte needing just 16yds on MNF to win, he got 19 rush yards, and 3 in the air...WOW couldn't have been closer.

The Calrissians coming off their first win of the season were hoping to follow it up, but even 33pts from McCoy couldn't pull them home. A bunch of single digit scores led to this situation, and the Usos while struggling to get over 100 made it with Luck scoreing 23pts, and Hunter Henry getting 17.

Odell Beckham JR! For the first time this season he broke out, I am wondering if he got benched in some leagues. His 40pts was the major difference here, Matt Ryan put in a good game as well, and the Hammer sjust couldn't keep up, Cooper, Murray & Graham tried to get the team there, but couldn't.

TOp Players this season

Niall's Paul dominating the QBs this season with 2 of the top 3 avg points so far.

Paul is looking good at RB as well With David Johnson & Melvin Gordon both in the top 5, Yakcalls have 5 of the top 25, which is solid, but which ones do you start?

Anyone want a #1 WR? I have a pair of them in Julio & Evans, top 2 on average points, Billikids with Brown, Green and White (Uh Cooks) look good too.

Tight Ends? What are they?Without Gronk this is an absolute mess, Olsen is the best, but the rest are just the same.

This the "Depth" tier, you have to have these guys to back-up your starters, hopefully though they are not your actual starters.

Don't worry Deeks - Dynasty is a long term game in which you'll have plenty of chances to turn things around.  Now take your beating this week like a good lad and we can all happily move on.
