Less then 60 seconds later Jason Hicks unleashed an unstoppable shot from just outside the area and suddenly the Knights were back in the contest with all the momentum.

In the 12th minute a goal by Andre De Jong opened the scoring for Hakoah Sydney City East. A long ball forward reached him in the box where he squeezed in between a few of the Tigers’ defenders before turning the ball into the bottom corner of the net.

Wiily G liked to play him as a striker normally on his own, he is too light for that role and lacks out and out pace to be a threat to a well organised defence.
