The sign in Christchurch with says "Nude girls stripping here tonight."

Its an oxymoron.

Yeah, what are they doing, removing their skin? Taking paint off the walls?

I've thought of another thing. Trendy types using their current "buzzword", which doesn't seem to ever be just their's as all their types use it. The latest seems to be 'juxtaposition'. A while back it was 'disingenuous'

I'm thinking about people like that obnoxious Hooper family/cult who call their kids stupid names and own the 'World' fashion store. I saw one of them in the city earlier this week and he (Francis? The one who pretends not to be gay) was prancing down High Street like he had treacle running down his legs. Which he probably had.
And BTW, if dressing like he does means that you are "fashionable" then I'm going to start wargaming and get into Star Trek.

Oh and I hate how now when you go and buy a pie from a shop and you ave to pay an extra 30 cents for a tiny packet of sauce. What happened to the good old days when the sauce was free and you could ave as much as you want. Greedy shopkeepers.

How about when you buy a pie and it is so f**king hot you scald you lips on the first bite and have to give it an hour to cool down? Now if you are hungry (which you obviously are - you've just bought a pie) that is a sure fire way of turning someone postal.

How about Pizza Hut and Domino's brochures that promise you "Unlimited Large Pizzas - $6.90 pick-up" but when you read the small print you find that that price includes only Meat Lovers, Hawaiian and Supreme (the pizza for undiscerning pizza eaters) and all the others have a $2.90 surcharge. Which seems to negate the word "unlimited" in my view. (I know, they are meaning quantity, but still...)
False advertising?

People that listen to rap, and take no notice of what they are saying. Popping a cap in yo ass relates to about  0.0001% of NZ'ers, so why listen to that sh*t? You are not from Compton, you do not live in the hood and you most certainly will never pop a cap in anyones ass, so listen to other sh*t!!!

Actors giving their babies stupid names like Apple and Knox Leon and Sunday Rose etc etc.

Actors that use babies as an excuse for publicity.

Twig-skinny actors that say they "eat like pigs".

Actors.

Women's Magazines. I think the likes of Woman's Day, New Idea insult the intelligence of the entire female gender. Sadly, I'm talking about the very same female gender (or a portion thereof) that then in turn go out and give the publishers a market by actually buying the crap.

Sandbagging

Heard it for the 1st (2nd & 3rd) time this week.

Somebody must have pushed the envelope on their blue sky thinking to come up with that one.

I heard that the other day and I swelled with pride knowing I was marginally more intelligent than somebody who managed to get onto TV.

Keith Quinn, John McBeth and Peter Montgomery all up there with Paul Henry as TVNZ's biggest f**kwits. Not even Veitch was THAT bad on TV.

PS, This also applies to their performances on Radio too!

The Olympic coverage has shown that journalists are terrible unless they have a carefully prepared script.

Football clubs not releasing players for the national team because of dubious 'injuries' gets me going as does the similar, and far more sinister, habit of NRL clubs doing the same with New Zealand players.

Isn't that usually Ryan Nelson's excuse for not playing for the All Whites??

Yes, hence his epic fail for thinking he can comment on the Phoenix and the state of New Zealand's young footballers. Critical_Lemon2008-08-17 11:19:14

I thought about just saying Nelsen but its the whole issue that gets me. I will say Nelsen anyway, and I shall remain pissed off until he finaly deigns to grace us with his Premier League prescence for an All Whites match against a pacific nation.

EDIT: Annoyance provides for poor spelling, missed words and two edits.

The rip-off Stadium food, over priced, over cooked (sometimes under-done), Usually cold when served up.

They say revenge is a dish best served cold and the Stadium catering must be getting heaps of revenge for some misdead in the past.

Hehehe, no, it's my "Two for the pink, One for the stink" sign. I'm fed up with all daz homez and their west side signs. I got that one of the web. If you cant figure it out try it next time you get romantic with your girlfriend/wife. Youll then understand the humour in it!
