It was some game. Can't lie... I was rooting for Ajax but Spurs just kept going.

I *really* hope the final lives up to both semi-final games. Probably won't.

Yeah you can. You need Spurs to win for Arsenal to play them in the European Super Cup after you win the no-hoper league.

I'm no cricket expert but how were those runs allowed to stand? Does that mean that when you're running between wickets and you see the ball come in from the fielder, you can have another whack at it and hit it for four?

It seems dumb that those runs were counted. Understandable if it was a complete overthrow.

It stood because it was accidental, you can't do something like that deliberately. The etiquette is usually not to take any further runs after something like this happens, but since the deflection went to the boundary, the runs had to count.

It was four runs to the Irish cricketer Rick O'Shea.

Only counts if accidental, if done deliberately you can be given out for obstructing the field (note: you will not be given out hitting the ball twice)

Nope, do it intentionally you are out.  Also, no one runs (unless you are a complete arsehole) if it deflects away from the field, but if it goes to the boundary - shark happens

First the good news - Media Works have postponed the NZ version of "Love Island" for a year.

Now the bad news...Media Works have bought the rights for "Love Island UK, USA, AU" due to it's "popular viewership" - chortle, chortle, chortle. Just the adverts for it show what a load of materialistic trash it is. How shallow can those people be?

Other than C Diddy, does anyone actually watch it??

it's purposely tacky and doesn't try to be anything rather than cheap entertainment - not a bad thing imo, it's enjoyable as a laugh which is why most people watch it

Still a bit shark to say the least

Spark getting in the excuses earlier tonight and not accepting any blame for any issues that might arise. Well played Spark. Blame the customers for older equipment and not being tech savy.

All well and good  and all day long on Magic, there have been loads of complaints about Spark being unhelpful and for Noel Leeming selling gear to customers which is what they didn't want or need instead of selling them the appropriate stuff.

Seriously, this could go tits up and end in a real bun fight, although TVNZ have said if it falls over, they'll help Spark out.

Spark offering 3 levels of refund to those whom signed up for their WC service. I note too that Spark claims up to 40,000 users have inadequate equipment for the streaming. If 40,000 users all went for the full refund, that's a lot of coin for Spark to lose.

So it seems you have a boner for Spark to fail in streaming but I don't see how this is relevant to "Things that rule".

It has taken many years but with the help of Jeremy Ruane from Ultimate New Zealand Football I can confirm that my son Michael Legg is an  ex All White.

Being biased,  he deserved a lot more than 1  cap.
