Mainland Tipping Comp

No panic Vim as round 1 not until the last weekend in June. Weekend off for the top five Mainland teams next weekend then Chatham Cup on the weekend 23/24. Down south catch up game next week Satuday between Queentown Rovers and Dunedin Tech with Rovers currently on 13 points needing to win to make the top three other wise the top three form the Football South PL will be Dunedin Tech (17), Southland (16) and Caversham (15). 

Mainland Premier Qualflying League (bottom three play-off) kicks-off on Saturday.

New joint top of the table, with so many random results this week Rambo somehow picked 3, well done! Not one person picked the Tech and Bays draw. I can't work out what is happening with next week's games, so will find out and then post a link to the picks. AW82 can you help? 

We'll check when I get home -  but Chatty Cup and Kaye Sheppard Cup is no and likely two games in Southern League - Dunedin Tech vs Nomads and Queenstown v Southland do not thing the Mainland Qualifying League are playing this weekend.

Don't tell me I can't watch Coastal and will be forced to watch Tech again!

Here we have it guys, the final table and the champion of the world Global Game. Well done to all those who took part, was heaps of fun.

This week's picks were a disaster too by the way. Check this out. 

No-one picked the Chatham Cup draw at 90, no-one picked Uni to beat Selwyn, no-one (apart from Rambo) picked a Tech Coastal draw at FT, no-one picked Qtown to beat Bays and everyone picked Birkenhead to beat Nelson.

Rules

1) $10 entry, payable at the end, to the winner. Some nominate charities for it to be paid to, however not compulsory. 

2) Entries must be in by kickoff of the first game, and no I don't remind you if you haven't. 

3) Everyone hates a quitter, so if you start, stay in for the season. 

4) If the results changes because of a dodgy player or something, tough, I can't be bothered going back and changing things.

5) I always pick first, so I don't see your picks, and aren't cheating. I'm happy to show the results page, it's timestamped. 

6) It's for fun, however all banter is appreciated and welcomed. 

7) I aim to have the results and next round picks up by Monday, however some weekends are bigger than others so don't get huffy. 

8) The first week you pick what will happen in week 1, and what the table will be at the end. I add in cups and South Island league too.

Never before has there been such a bunch of upsets and poor picking!  No one picked Bays, no one picked a draw in Nelson, only one picked Selwyn and everyone chose Coastal! So a very tight table after round one...  Next week's picks are here.
