The FFA Cup is back in action tonight, with APIA hosting Adelaide & Bentleigh hosting Heidelburg. It's being shown live on Sky, Channel 56 at 9:30pm.
It's a bit of a shame that Fox chose to show the Adelaide game, the other game is the two best teams in Melbourne going head to head.

Le Fondre and S. De Jong look sharp for Sydney, will be dangerous in a star packed side this season. WSW looking more slick though and having the better of the first half. Sydney just look to have magic all over the pitch but just not a lot of cohesion at this point.

I hope they change this and run it during the A League season. I appreciate that it is meant to be a winter thing but until it is incorporated into a during the season idea, it will remain a preseason hit out for most A League clubs and not taken seriously at all.

Sydney not nearly looking the team of the last few years. lots of hopeful balls forward as opposed to there patient possession based build up last year. Admittedly they were chasing the game later on and they are missing a few players thru injury. But I don't think they are going to run away with the league this season. Jordi Buijs was a big loss in the off season.
