Mulvey & Papas the favorites according to this after Stuart Pearce and Glenn Roeder pulled out when they saw how much CCM were offering.

Mulvey would have been good for the Nix.

Stuart Pearce seems to apply for every job, I remember he applied for Tasman United a few years back. As far as Mulvey goes, there has to be a reason why he was dropped by the Roar and hasn't been seen in the A-League since.

AFAIK there's still some sort of unjust dismissal law suit  on going between him and the Roar, will be interesting to see CCM and BR face each other.

Yep, but this story was about him applying for the CCM.

From 442 coaching appointments now complete.

https://www.fourfourtwo.com.au/news/mulveys-first-...

Mulvey's finalised coaching staff consists of former A-League powerhouse midfielder Nick Montgomery, who will take on the role of Mulvey's assistant, along with Ray Junna, David McGinness and Andrew Young.

As fellow assistant coach alongside Montgomery, Junna has extensive experience throughout FFA, the Australian Institute of Sport and Canberra United.

Young, the Mariners' new Head of Performance, has a stellar pedigree working with Fulham FC, Blackburn Rovers, FFA, Adelaide United and clubs in China and Thailand.

Finishing up the star-cast is McGinness, the Mariners' new Physiotherapist who has worked with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

I would be very shocked and impressed if he had he footballing ability of Appiah.  I think if he did they would sign him in a heartbeat for the publicity alone.

Has a trial ever been marketed to this extent before?

Look I'm not usually one to criticise kits but those have got to be some of the weirdest I've seen in the A-League

Without the sponsor the white would look pretty good, the blue is meh and the home kit is just...

Doesn’t help that the CCM logo is fudgeing offcentre, would rather bring back the palm trees tbh, away’s alright enough

Anyone else getting the feeling that Bolt has already agreed a contract with the caveat that CCM are allowed to go through the motions to give the appearance of due dilligence?

read that this morning, seems Hudson wanted him to play on a visa spot but they couldn't free up space, so he's come back to CCM. Good luck to him, hope he finds his pre-nix form just not against us.

He said a number of times in the first presser with Mulvey about how happy he was to be a pro footballer. Surely you wouldnt say that if you were on the first day of your trial. I know he's confident, but technically he's genuinely not a pro yet. I hope for the mariners sake they haven't, but it wouldn't surprise me if he has signed some sort of contract. Perhaps a guest player one like David Villa had a few years back.

Id say the way Sky Sports are milking "The Trial" then they have their snout in the trough too

Fox Sports & they are gonna be chipping in some cash towards his wages if he gets signed, so they have a vested interest in wall to wall Bolt coverage.

Just watched the trial. My word. What a farce. He touched the ball for first 10 minutes. Not sure he made a successful pass, positioning was all over the place, was static, and somehow still looked wrecked after 15 minutes.
