Now confirmed that Rudan is going, coach speculation in here.

Buckingham..
Early start to the off season.
In terms of coaches with A-League connections, Kurz seems to be the only legitimate option, in terms of his ability.
So get ready for a #JoyceIn announcement this time next week!
Kurz, please not Joyce, but stranger things happen at the Nix
If we're going to go out, I want us to go out with a bang and enjoyable football. That is my only request.

I kind of want to have Joyce next year to experience peak Football Nihilism.
We'll be lucky to get anyone of any quality, no serious coach/manager is going to want to get involved with a club that is potentially going nowhere, he'll have no pulling power for any half decent players other than the 9/10 that are already here.

Kalezic might be available

Hudson might be available soon.

Well, he is unbeaten with PSM Makassar so far...
Better than Hudson then
If our future isn't confirmed prior to next season, then we won't be signing any coach or players of note.
The FFA was supposed to run their coaching training this year, did it happen or will it happen?
As much as I'd like Kurz I have feeling he won't do well, I'd rather someone like Rudan again
Personally, I want Greenie. Was a big factor in bringing Libby and Singh through, and has been Rudan’s assistant, so can keep the culture he created going.
Kurz second choice.
Give it to Dura with Des and Greenie in support. Until such time as the license issue is sorted, we're not going to be able to contract someone long term, presuming we have a long term role in the A-League. Might want to dump the eight week out clause this time...

Doesn't have the right qualifications.
I didn't think coaching was Dura's future. Thought he was working in the back office looking at that of the sport more.
Buckingham Greenie combo for me.
With only one year guaranteed Buckingham is a good option. he will be working with alot of NZ talent at U20 world cup, Can maybe influence the likes of McCowatt to come on board. After that won't be so busy at NZF. He could do both roles, and he has a good working relationship with Greenie who has been part of the renewed culture this year.
Lets turn this into a high rating TV show called "Wellied at First Sight" where we start with 10 contenders who are paired up with prominent members of the Yellow Fever whom they have never met before, and watch them go through hell and back trying to form a unique bond and stay together for more than a season!

Yeah. Nah.
Yeah. Nah.
He has a backroom (commerical) part time role already, going on media release from the beginning of the season; and not sure if he has the required A licence anyway.
I don't believe he has the qualifications to run a first kicks program.
Well there Ryan Nelsen, Paul Okon, Harry Kewell, Aurelio Vidmar without clubs. If Im right didn't phoenix originally go for Vidmar before JP and Rudan?
It's a shame the coach from Bentleigh Greens is now with Western. Could've been the quite the head coach, if the hype is to be believed

Now this is reality TV that I would actually watch.
Jacob Burns / News combo would be popcorn worthy
IluvNix and John Aloisi would mean that the show would have to be R18.

I believe the same can be said of Rudan
No Kiwi based coaches have right quals. So can rule them all out.
Though I do remember one possible avenue raised last post season, was Schmid (who has a Pro Licence?) being appointed as a sort of HOF, and Buckingham/Greenacre effectively under him as the hands on Nix coaches.
To have Schmid do any actual coaching would of course be stupid. For NZF to actually help the Nix even more ridiculous.

Bucky does.
Also Ricki Herbert. How weirdly sweet if Ricki completed the cycle for the nix and then went to the next NZ incarnation (ala Kinghts).

First episode, Helicopter flight over Welly and Burns "mysteriously" falls from the Helicopter.

Another dream pairing would be 2ndBest and Huddo.
