You're kidding if you think Solomon Islands will turn over New Zealand.

No, I'm not. But I'm not saying it will happen. I'm saying it could happen. But rather than re-type most of what I've written on this forum to justify my position on that for your benefit, I'll let your comment stand.

Didn't realise but there's some ridiculous new rule applying to this tournie- two yellows and you're out for the next game! Going to be heaps of players suspended from all teams...See:

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news/article.cfm?c_id=4&objectid=10810512

Apparently "players are suspended for one game if they pick up two yellows at any time in the competition."

Changes to AW's lineup for tomorrow:

' Herbert is likely to make a handful of changes. It's unlikely goalkeeper Mark Paston will be risked as he recovers from concussion, meaning Jake Gleeson could start - Glen Moss could play but is coming back from a torn adductor.

Chris Wood, Jeremy Brockie and Michael Boxall might also be given the nod with Marco Rojas, Leo Bertos and Ivan Vicelich the most likely to make way with Wood playing as a front pairing with Shane Smeltz and Kosta Barbarouses playing in behind.

Rojas was largely ineffective against Fiji as he struggled physically and Herbert is also mindful of the cards picked up by both Bertos and Vicelich that could hurt them later in the tournament - players are suspended for one game if they pick up two yellows at any time in the competition.

"It will be beneficial to try to rest some players but the ones who will come in were knocking on the door anyway," Herbert said. "It's not because we are playing PNG we are going to win comfortably. We need to be careful." '

Possible New Zealand side to play Papua New Guinea at the Lawson Tama Stadium, Honiara, tomorrow (1pm NZT):

Gleeson; Sigmund, Smith (c ), Boxall; Brockie, Killen, McGlinchey, Lochhead; Barbarouses; Smeltz, Wood.

Substitutes from: Moss, Paston, Myers, Vicelich, Hogg, Bertos, Clapham, McGeorge, Howieson, Payne, Rojas, Fallon.

That was some experience  Seeing the locals building a new grandstand was just ridiculous.  Estimiate there was 16-18K there for the second game.

Still not sure if I should take a spot on the hill for the Solo-NZ game or just the media area.

I will be disappointed in you second best if you don't mix with the locals

Auckland will rise once more

NZ played lousy game, I've just watched match replay. Goalie saved 3 points there with few great saves, free kick and one another great chance, Vakatalesau I think. It will be interesting to see your team against host team and 20k+ fans' pressure.

Was wondering how long it'd be before you joined us here!

Welcome!

Yeah. I find this forum as most suitable to find out more on Oceanic football, and I see there is OFC TV commentator as member (I like his posts a lot). I hope to be up tonight to watch Kiwis against Farina's side, should be a great match. Shame that games are so early so I can not watch whole tournament - 8 pm local would have been awesome.

Anyone else having trouble purchasing the game? Same as last time.

Click purchase now and it just refreshes the page.

I had that issue, but it seemed to be fixed by logging out and logging back in. I was able to pay after that.

I think they have an issue keeping people logged in, when I went to the page to purchase it said "Hi, welcome back!" at the top of the page. When I am logged properly in it includes my name.

The New Zealand Football twitter account just posted that today's game is free to watch. Not sure how accurate that is though.

Had same problem but logging in and out had no result- (I was registered with e-cast from the Olympic qualifiers)

THE FINAL SOLUTION:

Only thing that worked for me in the end was to register under a different name and email and then I was able to purchase straight away.

Seems if, like me, you registered on the e-cast site to watch the Olympic qualifiers from Taupo a few months ago, then that registration won't work for the Nations Cup- bizarre and just a little incompetent on the part of whoever is running e-cast!

Anyone else find it weird Killie's playing as a deep lying midfielder when we have Ivan and Boxall in the squad who are there to do that job?

Ricki has always said he will find a way to get his best players on the field, Killen has better ball skills than those guys so he gets the nod

Try logging out, then logging back in. If that doesn't work, try signing up with another email.

Hoping the stream chokes and I can watch it again for free...

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Ahhhh yup that's the solution. Seems like someone borked their DB migration to the site.

If when you login it says "Hi, welcome" instead of "Hi Sean, Welcome" then RE-REGISTER.

You'll need a new email address to register. I used my work one.

Complained about the problems with the NZ/Fiji game - I'm pretty impressed with the response.

Got refunded for it and they made the rest of the games free :)
