Everywhere i look football is on the rise. New Zealand and the Phoenix are all over the headlines, Young kids are playing the glorious game in greater numbers then ever before. And this is how it should be.

Does the Fever get their deserved accolade, I've been told that it was the Phoenix's final run, the all whites qualification and the Auckland City run in the club championship.
Could these teams have done it without the fans, without the fever?

Often the fever is there in the background, getting fans involved, promoting events, making cool t's and getting people like me interested.

From a personal point of view: You have opened up my eyes. I am now a football man in a rugy dominated family. As a Kiwi living in Australia i would always be interested in the All Whites playing at a world cup.
But without the fever: would i know every player, would i be anticipating every touch, will i be living for every moment. I fear i woulndt be.

I JUST WANNA SAY A BIG DESERVED THANKYOU TO THE FEVER FOR EVERYTHING

thanks for:
  • Entertaining me with things like BBQ
  • Your awesome podcasts
  • Your awesoem array of t-shirt
  • Your contribution to all things Phoenix
  • My love for the All whites
  • My love for the Phoenix
  • My love for football
  • Your all white on the night, making the crowd the true 12th man
  • Your consistant year after year phoenix determination
  • AND MOSTLY FOR MAKING FOOTBALL THE MOST DOMINANT GAME IN BY BEAUTIFUL HOME

Yellow Fever and the 'Nix have made a big difference to Football in this country. A couple of weeks ago me and a few mates would play 3 on 3, now everyone plays in my year and quite a few from other years and 50 or so kids play now. Sorry about the story.

Auckland City achieved success without the fever yes.

Three for me, and two for them.

I second this. Already in this world cup I've watched more games than the last two combined. I came here wet behind the ears and many of you were kind enough to share your knowledge and passion
