ok so Im leaving out Mossy here for two reasons.
1 He was obviously our best player
2 Our keeper is always our 'best' player at FIFA tournies - as they are in the action every two minutes

(3 He's a judas (jokes))

Simon Elliot: 35 years old and our best player by a mile.

Big props to Vicelic for a) burying whatever hatchet he had left with Ricki and b) performing admirable despite a number of months away from playing.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Time to pay out his SJE contract and preserve him in ice between AWs games.

Elliott and then space back to the next best. Credit to Sigmund for showing what a great attitude can do.

Think how good Elliott could do if he had a decent partner in the centre, sadly Brown's offering was very poor and he offered Elliott bugger all support.

Vicelich was the best back, Elliot the best midfielder, and Bertos the best forward

Hope that Vicelich is going to make himself available for the playoff, we need him. He might not have the speed he once had but he saved us time and again. Reminds me how much I missed him from his time at the Kingz

Elliot looked composed, I thought he won more than his share of 50/50's and distributed ok, a few waywards, but who didnt have those

Bertos was the best at going forward, he showed he could beat a man, has to work on his accuracy with crossing though, his set piece play was better than it has been

I thought Vicelich was pretty poor throughout the three games, although he is not alone there (Smeltz, Brownie, 'Lee Bowyer' Boyens, etc).

I think there were only 3 or 4 players who came out of the whole thing with their reputations in tact (Mossy, Elliott being the main two)

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

We are talking about the best player on the team not the player that was on the TV the most (because he was skinned alive by the left wing)

Shut it down mods...it's in danger of becoming a "George" poll.

Blame Feverish....for not including George.

If only George was eligible to play for us, we'd have won the Cup!

Cleberson shoring up that troublesome RB spot would have worked wonders as well.

Elliot was definetely one of the best. Leo was also one of the few players who would actually try take players on and back themselves. There were no other standouts I thought. I thought the most dissapointing player was Killen (based on his reputation), and also lochead had a shoka. He must have sore knees from being with Rikki!

Leo was one of the few players that showed class.
