Well I went to the practice today, had to be about 350 people including a lot of representation of the Media kind. To the journo whom was juggling the ball whilst waiting to speak to Ricki - Top effort.

When the Media arrived, they were setting up for the players and fair enough but below is a photo I took to show the human aspect. At a time that is one of our most important in NZ Football, Brian Turner joined in with the kids to do what comes natural as a father I guess before taking on the more serious role when the team arrived. To me this was a very human photo.

Some of the adults recognised Brian of course but these kids were having a ball playing with the Kiwi legend. And that is what Brian Turner is - a Kiwi Legend.

How to encourage kids to take up the beautiful game. Abley assisted by Colin Tua (?)

Here's the man whom will lead out the team with enormous pride in our toughest hour. No, Not the guy on the right, the one on the left! Is that a Ryos bag? It was amazing to see the players doing their best to keep everyone happy and they were very approachable.

So this Saturday, we fans have got to give it our loudest ever and help these  players through the toughest 90 minutes.

These are incredible photos. Up close. Access to these players is so rare. Hardly ever in one place at the same time.

Was a great evening - big thumbs up to all involved... especially the players & management.

Now how the hell do I get pics on here like LG did?... Ahhhhhh... who cares!

Siggi, Costa, Nelsen & Smeltz

Smeltz who was a laugh to chat with, he seems much more relaxed and good on him, he knows the score this Saturday. Much more respect to you Shane after that chat

And the media were setting up shop....

I've got the photos loaded up on my own website server and just linking them so that it doesn't clog up the YF server.

The names weren't in any particular order but those named are in the pics. The Hoodie is available at the Phoenix Shop. Not sure if else where.

 Excellent photos. Keep it up.

If the trainings were in central Wellington then I'd probably go. But I don't want to miss tooo much study so I'll have to give them a miss. Are there any other chances to meet the players ?

I''m surprised they have all been so accessible.

Imagine being allowed this sort of access to David Beckham - Yeah Right!!

That is why NZ football is so unique and very special. Our heroes are approachable, yet we also give them space too. Everyone today was very respectful as soon as the practice started.

I'm really proud of our team, our squad, our country and our attitude. On Saturday night there will be a stadium full of All Whites players. Stand together and live the dream. Losing my voice at this game will be worth it regardless of the result, these guys deserve us behind them.

PS: I'll be there tomorrow too and take some more. This is a historic moment and one I really have wanted to record. I will be taking my camera with me to the game as well.

Is that the bowling green? Pitch looks absolutely fantastic! Which Council maintains that green for the All Whites to train on? Full credits.
