This is what NZF have wanted - a definitive answer to the Durante elligibility question. They will welcome this.

Stuff have chosen to say it like this "All Whites in hot water after allegedly fielding an ineligible player in a World Cup qualifier."


So stuff either have no idea that this is what we had hoped for, or we really are in shit and have more to lose from this than just Durante's future involvment with the squad

If they deem Durante as being ineligible I know that result turns from a win into a loss. I would imagine a whooping big fine would also come our way? Does any one know if this has happened before?
