OH WELLINGTON...

. That is poor.
. That is poor.
That was a web extra done by one of our online guys who actually loves and knows his Football.
This is the breakfast segment, if it doesn't default to the right clip it's the first part of the regional round-up:
http://tvnz.co.nz/breakfast-news/breakfast-wednesday-march-17-3419500/video?vid=3419632
Keep watching the background during the Auckland reporter's segment

But really I didn't even see anything in town promoting it. Continuing the low profile of football in general in this country.

Stayed to watch some local club football as well

Yeah there was no advertising at all. I checked the Press (In addition to being an 'insider' there). The only Gary Cockram ad was their usual car ones.
But they even took the ball to the Rugby last week and people were signing it with go crusaders, which is really poor. Talk about poor Cantabrian attitude.
Even though they are given these large balls, free promo items to give away and a wave on enthusiasm from the general public for football (All Whites, big crowd at Phoenix in CHCH). They end up taking it to the rugby and keeping the balls out of sight in their store and not doing anything to promote them.

And when I called up the guy was like "yeah, it's not here any more".
GG

As a recent Chch export to Wellington I can only shake my head with despair because I know there are a lot of football fans in Chch who would have been keen to sign the ball...

Make Boobs on Bikes curtain-raiser to Balls on Blokes?
But seriously with the size of these balls how the hell did Hyundai drop them??
