Evening all, World Cup qualifier in Wellington saw Ryan Thomas score his first All Whites goals and the Ingham brothers debut in a victory over Fiji - enjoy :)
All Whites History
Hi there, as requested - match vs El Salvador in 2012, featuring Ian Hogg's goal-scoring debut:
Evening all, as requested earlier, All Whites v Jamaica - still struggling to comprehend how we didn't win this one comfortably, but anyway...

Cheers KM. Entertaining game.
Who knows what may have been if AWs had played say Honduras (3rd in the CONCACAF - and automatic qualification Brazil), or Jamaica (6th in CONACAF) rather than Mexico (4th in CONACAF) in 2013.
Swings and roundabouts. Bahrain was a pretty soft AFC opponent to draw in 2009
Bahrain may have been seen by many as soft, but the result they got v Saudi in Riyadh (in order to face us) was pretty remarkably done... and there was nothing soft about the stadium atmosphere in Manama when the All Whites played there (even though the locals in the stands were really friendly and welcoming!). But in footballing terms, absolutely a few steps below Mexico and Peru...

And , do we care.... no. It created one of the best days ever ever.
No of course not :)
Should also mention Milton Graham, a striker who toured NZ with AFC Bournemouth in 1982.
He subsequently signed for Claudelands Rovers for a season (83 or 84) then back with Bournemouth scored in a cup win over Man Utd and went on to 73 appearances with the Cherries, then over 100 with Chester City.
Evening all - had a request for "one of the draws against China", so decided to go for the one with Wee Mac's first ever All Whites goal, and debuts for Messrs Boxall, Rojas and Fitzgerald (sigh)... wasn't until that I'd finished editing it that I realised it was played in Wuhan... oh the irony...
Thanks KM.
Was there an AWs match in China, where Rojas got in a little bit of trouble at an after match function or something? Or have I mistakenly sullied his name.
that's not one I've heard, from memory, but I'm sure someone on here would know more if there was something to it...
Evening all, a 2018 World Cup qualifier in Lautoka, and Marco Rojas remembers it fondly!

Sure I have the programme from the Franklin game somewhere. I think it was Franklin’s first ever match as an individual rep/association team.
Who else did they play on that tour?

Seeing as how we missed out on the All Whites playing Oman recently, figured it might be worth looking at the last time we played Oman...
Ramadhan Kareem everyone :)

ahhhhhhhh....poor old Henry Cameron.
yeh, gotta feel for him, was going great guns to that point...
was an interesting game - and if I saw things correctly, an Omani player got 2 yellow cards but remained on the field...

Quite possibly.
Did note then when the 2nd yellow was given, Drewhurst called it the first yellow of the game.
So ref not the only one with a terrible memory.
Don't get me started...
Ten years ago this month, NZ stunned world football. I caught up with legendary coach Ricki Herbert to talk WC 2010 and the A-League #allwhites #aleague

Evening all, clip from the AWs match in Adelaide back in 2011...
What a day that was, although, admittedly, I don't really remember the game at all.
Is she really?
Weren't they selling Port at the ground? Best part of the game was taunting some Australian fan walking in front of the away bay and him getting booted from the ground.
Oh and this.
I'm absolutely shocked to see Tracey wearing a cast.
Hi everyone, some of the videos on my channel are coming under copyright claim (after what seems like a very long time, but anyway..), so if some are missing that you thought were there previously, my apologies. I'm trying to sort it, but don't really know who it is I'm dealing with. If it was monetized I'd kind of understand, but anyway, yeh...
Evening all, clip from when the All Whites played Mexico in Denver back in 2011 - pretty grim viewing, to be fair...

Seems like we have played Mexico a lot over last 10 odd years. Must be due another game!
Was that Michael Fitzgerald's debut? Looked quick and nippy, but big ask being so young against Dos Santos and co. Also played out of position there on the left by Herbert??
Pity he has been lost to Japan for so long. None of the current RB contenders for the AWs (Roux, Payne, Fenton etc) seem a stand out for the role. Shapes as a problem for Hay. Fitzgerald with all his experience now, could have been useful to have in the mix. Maybe Cam Elliott will kick on. Billingsley a future option as well.
Hello there, been a while since I posted a new clip - here's a victory over the Solomons in 2017 with Wood in goal scoring form:
I remember flying up to Auckland for this one. Great fun
Evening all, thought with the festive season upon us it might be nice to reminisce about when the All Whites were actually a football team, rather than an abstract idea... and thought the best way to do that would be with a game outside of Oceania that they won! Enjoy :)
Afternoon all, had a request for this one. One for the Rojas fans :)
Full replay of NZ versing Bahrain would be appreciated, plz.

From those highlights, New Caledonia actually had passages in that game where they looked half decent, stringing passes together.
I imagine the Island nations will be even more rusty than AWs come any OFC qualifiers later this year. Most of their players being local amateurs, with not even any OFC Champions League club games, or other international fixtures leading in.

Apologies, I don't do full matches - but here are my hilites from both those games, hopefully something here you can enjoy :)
Second WCQ against New Caledonia in 2016 - no goals, but a Tuiloma defensive effort worth the entry fee alone!
So between 1975 and 1983 New Zealand were the dominant force in Oceania when Australia was around shame there are no video of the games back then..
