This should be available in the next couple of days.

30 Jan 10:26

Should be available tomorrow at Rebel Sport in Cuba St. $109.99 retail
30 Jan 11:54

Looks pretty budget tbh. Like it is just a standard white nike running tee.

30 Jan 18:21

Man what a step backwards. It looks like one of those cheap eBay knock offs from Thailand with an ironed-on patch. Do not want.

30 Jan 18:26 · edited 30 Jan 18:28 · History

Agree with you two. That is a very poor shirt. Must be a training shirt/money-spinner or something and not part of the actual kit?

30 Jan 19:47

Or that Nike know that noone will see it for 2 years so didn't invest much resource in it.

27 Feb 07:39

The 2014 shirt looks remarkably like the previous one. And the one before that.

27 Feb 07:43

Not as bad as the pic that someone posted a while back with the shitty sewn-on patch. It's ok, you can only do so much with a team named 'all whites' I guess. Although the last kit was our best ever. Ever. Period,
27 Feb 11:18

Yep, they have really pushed the boat out design wise haven't they?

Normo's coming home

27 Feb 19:54

Actually still has the sewn on patch ..

I like the idea of the 'poppable' cuffs though

27 Feb 23:59

I read somewhere that this is made of recycled plastic or something - that's a bit unique?

Last few kits, the tops have been mainly recycled plastic. I think both shorts and socks now have a majority/decent proportion of recycled plastic.

A bit different to the last one: no black collar, no silver fern pattern and instead of black for logos and lettering it is silver/grey. I like it

That's been standard on Nike kits since last WC

I don't know why the trim on our shirts always has to be black or grey, can we not add a splash of colour?  Kit is still going to always be predominantly white.

Normo's coming home

It is much cheaper at $110. Get a good sale at Rebel and you could steal one for about $80

Wow brilliant, but is it slim fit or loose? Or Regular?

Norwich City supporter since 1992, New Zealand supporter since 2010 but without Rory Fallon's winning goal against Bahrain, I won't know about New Zealand Football.

Away kit.

11 Apr 05:46

Our kit is so lame at the moment. Surely Nike could've come up with something less boring.

We are called the 'All Whites'. It doesn't leave much scope (maybe away kit could be a bit experimental)

I'd love to see a modern AW stripy or more use of red and blue in the design ala the way England uses it in their white strips (although I don't want it to be like it was a few years back where we had blue shirts, never liked it)

The blue shirts were cool. I'd rather we have black as our home kit, and maybe blue or something else as away kit, and just get rid of white. It's shit. I've never liked this whole all whites brand, it's almost like we're telling the rest of the country that we're different or opposite to everyone else in a way. NZs sporting landscape is black.

Not almost like - it is exactly like that. That was the whole premise at the time of the 1982 campaign I seem to remember.

I think a black home kit would be nice, as it would set us aside from other nations in the world.

How many other nations have a black home kit? I'm sure there plenty that have a white one.

None. Google: national team football colours.

I think we need to keep separate from the All Blacks corporate behemoth.

NZRFU probably think they have the copyright on black kit anyway.

Gold to reflect the golden sands of Northland.

Black to reflect a midwinter night in Dipton.

Every other team wears black? So do our olympians. The only other black international kit I can ever think of seeing was Mexico's away shirt.

Id like us to wear black and just be called ... wait for it... "New Zealand". Bet if it happened they'd still find a crappy name for us .. "FootbALL Blacks"

Well at least our name isn't as stupid as the Socceroo's. It's not even called soccer.

Well it's called soccer in Australia and USA where they refer to another sport as football.

Its called soccer in australia in the same way its called soccer here - mainly by bogans and other people who know nothing of the sport.

But if your team has always been called the Socceroos, its probably going to stay that way.

If you talk football in Australia, esp in Eastern States they think you mean AFL. Nothing to do with bogans

I've spent plenty of time there, they call it AFL or footy. "Soccer" is likewise commonly referred to as football or footy. It is science that over 80% of people who use the term "soccer" are in fact bogans.

I have a rebel sport voucher and are going to buy an All Whites shirt.

They are listed as 2014, does this mean that there will be a new shirt next year?
