Hope none of our players get injured now.

Three for me, and two for them.

I look with envy at the matches Australia have in the AFC.......this is a hollow qualification, Oceania is a sham.

Boys against men. This does absolutely nothing for for development of NZ football.
 Get over yourself, mate.

Yeah it is proper rubbish.

The final qualifiers used to be massive events, now they’re just run of the mill sharke.

We need to now actually perform at the World Cup to make it worthwhile. If we don’t make at least the Round of 32 it will be a massive failure and waste of time.

Three for me, and two for them.

No, but world cup qualification does... And we need to play this match to get there. We've done this to death mate, just enjoy the goals!

I really hope the greenskeeper waters the pitch some more halftime.

I hope this Oceania Professional League can deliver a boost to the game in the region for the island teams - touch, discipline, fitness, quality, and structure.

Just clear and seemingly everlasting daylight between us and the rest. I love winning, but it just feels too easy to be doing this in such a high stakes game...

I hope New Caledonia are much better than this.

If for no other reason than them being embarrassed in the Intercontinental Playoffs would be a shark look for OFC.

Three for me, and two for them.

Might look different at the ground, but the All Whites goalie kit looks barely sufficient in terms of being not the same as the outfield players

How about this?  We should throw the Final match.  Go into the intercontinental match.  For the interesting tension and excitement.  Win that.  There's our 'real' qualification.

McCowatt must be dropped for Monday. Could easily cost us the game the sort of form he is in

I wish Paine crossed like this for the Phoenix.

Mind you,we ain't set up with anyone to get on the end of them, are we.

Whoever is in charge of watering the pitch needs a kick up the arse.

Three slips in the first minute...

The idiots do it every bloody game.

Wood being booked for being his loyal, thoughtful, and kind self is bloody ridiculous.

Probably quite short of a gallop is old Waineo, but bare minimum is to hit the target when you're on penalty duties. If it's saved at least they've worked for it.

Who does Tahiti play in the intercontinental playoff?

Nobody, it'll be the loser of NZ vs NC that advances to the intercontinental playoffs. Will be some time until opponents are decided in the draw for those playoffs

His confidence must be completely shot. He's under no pressure to score that one. Get him home to the Nix

I'm hoping he intentionally missed because that was a rough pen.

Why did he get booked?

After coming off, he went into the stands to greet the crowd and sign autographs/take photos.

Why on earth would he do that?

Foul for the disgrace of supporting and building the football community.

De Vries x Barbarouses showed that with a bit of quality, a low/drilled cross can be more than effective.

That was kind of fun in a low stress kind of way. Felt like a preseason friendly but it was great to see all our pro players perform in front of a local crowd. Wood makes heading look easy but its his positioning that does that. Hes a star and got an excellent reception from the crowd. His yellow card will be reported globally. Hope Dome was in the changing room afterwards getting Wood to sign a Nix first option contract. LOL

Trivia for the evening: the AWs scored as many goals at the RoF tonight as the Nix have scored there all season.

I'd like to see Rufer get a run in place of Bell who I thought did have a good game tonight.

McCowatt last 10 was good, first 80 was poor.

While OFC is an easy ride (we hope) it gets us to the WC which will provide guaranteed quality opposition. So what’s the problem?

Pathetic. Not apathetic.
