The final qualifiers used to be massive events, now they’re just run of the mill sharke.

We need to now actually perform at the World Cup to make it worthwhile. If we don’t make at least the Round of 32 it will be a massive failure and waste of time.

De Vries x Barbarouses showed that with a bit of quality, a low/drilled cross can be more than effective.

That was kind of fun in a low stress kind of way. Felt like a preseason friendly but it was great to see all our pro players perform in front of a local crowd. Wood makes heading look easy but its his positioning that does that. Hes a star and got an excellent reception from the crowd. His yellow card will be reported globally. Hope Dome was in the changing room afterwards getting Wood to sign a Nix first option contract. LOL

Trivia for the evening: the AWs scored as many goals at the RoF tonight as the Nix have scored there all season.

McCowatt last 10 was good, first 80 was poor.

While OFC is an easy ride (we hope) it gets us to the WC which will provide guaranteed quality opposition. So what’s the problem?
