Hey, was wondering if there will be anyone travelling to LA to watch the All Whites take on Mexico at the Rose Bowl, or alternatively, are there any other kiwis based here like myself?

Be nice to rally up a few supporters in one section.

For the record, we're going to beat them 4-0 again.

For those that are heading out to LA for the Mexico game the tickets are now on sales via Ticket Master. It looks like the cheapest tickets are $25USD and the high end is a bargin of $95USD.

As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago if your heading out for the game let me know.

25 bucks is hardly expensive.

Massive market of Mexico fans in LA so they won't have trouble selling.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

So when is this All White side being named.. it was meant to be yesterday but i cant find it. Anyone out there have the squad?

Team has been named and looks strong despite one player i cant believe continues to play for our side. Will Ricky Herbert ever drop Tony Lochead?? he is so horrific at defending its starting to become a joke selection. I have to close my eyes everytime a team attacks down his side. Also thought Spoonley may have snuck in ahead of Bannatyne...however still i strong side...GO THE ALLWHITES!!

Maybe but the Phoenix were much worse without Lochead.

No Mulligan in the squad, Barron is preferred!

Thank goodness no Mulligan.

I am confused about the suspensions. I thought Moss was out for the first two group games, so how can he play in this one. And if Vicelich is carrying a suspension from September how come he was able to play against Bahrain?

Such is FIFA logic!!!
Moss got his red card in a full international (a World Cup qualifier) > he can play all the friendlies he likes subsequently, but not in full internationals (e.g. World Cup qualifiers or Finals matches);

Vicelich accrued his card in a friendly (against Jordan) > he can play in all the full internationals he likes (such as World Cup qualifiers)- but has to miss a friendly!

Anyway that's my interpretation...

Your absolutely right, While Lochhead was suspended the Phoenix defence was iron tight and since he's back we've been conceding goals galore especially down the left.

This is almost correct. Moss's suspension only counts for World Cup games (and qualifiers). Hence he was able to play at the Confederations Cup, and had we not qualified for the World Cup it would carry all the way over to our first two qualifying games of our next campaign.aitkenmike2010-02-10 10:39:36

What time (NZ) will this be?

No Vicelich and no Nelsen, defence could be interesting. Siggy and Tommy I guess, heard that we are likely to stick with the 3-4-3

For anyone interested. Mexico vs Bolivia tonight. Mexico are favourites to win 3-0. I think the kick off time is 8pm, San Fran, CA time. It might be on Iraqigoals or something if anyone wants to watch.

Hope you arent expecting to much from the game. Its just Ricki trying out a few things for the world cup. I doubt he's at all concerned with the result.

New article on Stuff regards Thursdays game. In it they state

"Organisers have already sold 50,000 tickets and a crowd of up to 75,000 is expected. "It'll be massively tough," Brown said"

Ya think??????? 75,000 and prob 99% of them will be supporting Mexico
