Sam Malcolmson obviously wasn't at Newtown Park when Kevin Hagan kicked a prone Russian player in the head. As one the crowd booed, then chanted "off, off, off", then cheered when the red card was shown before booing Hagan all the way to the dressing rooms.

i remember seeing all white skipper malcolm dunford headbutt tony levy in a national league game once

levy probably deserved it...

Worst? Worst? Younger generation just won't believe ye when ye tell o' dirty deeds of 70's and 80's.

Kevin Hagan - there was a hard man and favourite of Fallon (Gee, "Four Yorkshiremen Sketch" seems even more relevant - just realised Kev Fallon's the fifth Yorkshireman !!!)

Ahhh, memories of appropriately-named Kevin Huff of Manurewa marching up to Frank van Hattum, Christchurch United's new signing from Manurewa during National League game at QE II Stadium 1983 - POW!!! Punches Frank in the face, breaking his jaw...

that's pretty psycho!  i remember huff when i was a kid watching, he was pretty useful.  i hope for frank and fred's sake that he doesn't have a kid in the U17s
