Well for those that did not like Payne as a DM and raved about Tuiloma as a DM, Tuiloma is Mr Invisible.

keeper fell into the box, but hands were punching out - can't really tell.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Barbarous misses wide after some nice crisp passing. Hard chance.

midfield is shite as usual.

A lot of miscommunication from our midfield players in transition. Its like they get in each others way.

Job vancancy: Defensive midfielder..... anyone that has a clue how to play there, please apply.

Chris James is showing a good engine chasing everything about.

Is Tuiloma or James meant to be playing there? The formation says James but it seems Tuiloma is doing the role (albeit poorly).

jeez the commentators are extra awful tonight. How many times are they going to segway themselves onto something by saying things like "you talk about transfers, you talk about winston reid" or "you talk about new contracts, you talk about Tom Doyle".

Tuiloma isn't it? James is at least trying to link the play up and is running about. I can't even find Tuiloma. We just need a gritty defensive player in there, but we've got three players avoiding making a tackle.

James seems to be the one getting forward more and certainly the one putting himself about. Everytime there is a black flash across the screen, its number 13. Be nice if the other midfielders got around a bit as well. Just screen the 2 CBs... someone. At least against SA, Payne planted himself in front of the 2 CBs and stayed there.

Because Tuiloma.

That was hard work. Lucky to only be down by 1. Tuiloma and Durante are offering little out there.

You can certainly see the difference in lacking an experienced head in the middle of the pitch that just knows to tuck in. Unfortunately Ivan is 38 but he would do that role perfectly.

The only one thats really acquiting themselves with any credibility is Hamez I think. Wood and Boyd are starved a bit, Kosta has had a couple of runs but there was one he should have released. McGlinchey seems to not have enough space to operate in. Bill who? Reid is waiting for EPL calls from the ref and expecting his team mates to play. Doyle is chasing a shadow, Durante needs a screener and Roux is standing near an opponent but has no idea how to stop him playing. Just running along side him does not mean you are defending him.

Reira already

James is pretty consistent when playing for New Zealand and it still staggers me he's playing fourth division in France, but I still think our midfield is the big weak link tonight, we are just being run through with ease.

But also 4-2-3-1 please. Sick of the damn MF hole

Hope Hudson has a big spade to fill it

The worrying thing for me is that you put Rojas in for Boyd and Thomas in for Barbarouses and our team isn't much better. We are missing players but our defensive depth is so poor right now.

The problem with that (as much as its probably the formation that would work the best for us) is that we do not have two DMs. Tuiloma is certainly not one.

Well for all the ravings that everyone has on the kid, he simply is not a DM. He played at Birkenhead and Waitakere as a left half and because OM play him as a DM, he is hailed as the saviour of our DM issues before he kicks a ball in that position. He is a better LB than DM. He has no positional awareness for the role he is meant to be playing so what the hell does he do at OM? I get that players can have a bad game but he is just showing absolute ZERO about himself in that role. I don't think Payne any better but he will at least stand in that hole in front of Durante. Dan Keat anyone? Jesus Christie would do a better job (exageration)
