I hope Ricki is seriously considering offering Hogg a contract, would fill one of our U23 spots, and it's always good having more Kiwis in the team. Hogg would offer a lot more than Griffiths or Tsats.
Sure it's 3 u21 spots
All Whites, Ferns, and other international teams

I blame too much youtube and FIFA on the playstation. Damn kids these days!
People like Coldplay and voted for the Nazis. You can't trust people.
Edvin Jurisevic is an MLS ref. WTF?
He was the ref for the game. Sky and their graphics team failed big time.
The graphic came from the local broadcaster not Sky. Same graphic came up on the El Salvadorian channel that I was watching.
That was the impression I had too. It would explain the pictures looking like they'd been beamed in direct from the 1980s. Awful viewing on a big TV

Where I was watching loved the narrow screen....It was higher than it was wider......Then again certain players like Boxall and Brockie could hide without being seen
We were all thoroughly disappointed with the quality of the broadcast at Four Kings. When we scored our first goal, none of us had any idea who had scored until they showed a closeup of Hogg.
I watched the Houston vs Portland game from BBVA Compass Stadium on a live stream that was really good in quality, so the stadium is fitted with equipment to do HD broadcasts. It may have been a bit much to expect High Definition, but you would have though we could at least have widescreen.

Socceroo/ Mariner / Whangarei
I actually considered watching a stream instead of watching it on tv, probably would have been great spread over 4 inches, not so much over 40
I, too, was disappointed with the coverage. Couldn't tell which players were which. Commentary didn't help with the player identification, but then I suppose they were watching the same pictures we were. Shame Sky chose to go with NZ commentators talking to a screen over commentators actually at the game.
The commentary at the game was likely in spanish. Crowd goes wild had good commentary for the goals. Goooooooooooolllllllllllllllllllllllll.

Just watched their wrap of the game. First comment from the two of them "We are very hard to beat, we are good at drawing". I refer to my quote from before the game:

Or if it's a draw: "do the All Whites do anything other than draw games?".
Case and point.
Really enjoyed that game, highly entertaining. Especially the way the AW's played. Its a joy to watch young talented kiwi kids do their stuff. There were some lovely passes and through balls. Costa, Marco and Weemac displayed some great skills. Rojas's shimmy to lose his marker was sheer class.....shame he hit the post!

I noticed that too Patrick. Disappointed thought that wasn't even in the first part of the show, relegated to the 2nd part.
^^ Yes all friendlies should be in the first part of the show
Re JV comments : Juggling is great to watch as a side show. However being able to control with precision when the ball is passed to you is THE skill for a good footballer, followed by then passing or shooting accurately
