He's the future, and a Phoenix player but he's done nothing this season to deserve an AWs callup.
Totally agree. The raw talent is there imo but would be doing him a disservice by gifting him another AW cap. To my mind has not really developed anywhere as much as we were all hoping. Whether this is a function of the coaching and/or the environment only time will tell but he needs to be putting in more consistent performances with an end product to really kick on.
There's obviously areas of his game to work on, but he's only in the squad as an impact player. Who else in the squad can you bring on to do this with 10 mins to go?
