Does anyone know where they are training and if spectators can get close?
They're keeping it secret. Until Friday they're training at a ground somewhere in either "west auckland or north harbour behind closed doors". Friday they fly to Wellington but won't be training and will get their first look at Westpac when they arrive pre-game kick-off acc. to Michael Burgess in today's Herald. Even getting them to talk to media has been mucho difficult apparently. They initially refused but have now bowed to Fifa regs and will be fronting up Friday eve.
Interesting. No training at all in Welly..... They better get used to the cake tin wind quick smart. Do you know what aircraft they are using coming to Wellington?
No. But they arrived from Peru on their own chartered plane.
Boeing 787-8
I'll be keeping an eye out. Not too often do 787s come to Wellington.
If it is allowed to..this seems to suggest not?
