Fudge it, that was great. If idiots can't see that I'm not going to bother arguing with them

but this same team was able to hold a tight score against the likes of rusia ( away game) , mexico (2-1) , japan (2-1) this year on away games
I do not see peru as being that much stronger than those teams specially without guerrero.
spot on there mate. This team was able to lose to teams worse than Peru, and now we drew with Peru. Big step backwards.
Peru with guerrero may be on par with the likes of mexico , japan and russia
Peru without Guerero is not.
Its not even about winning or losing. My point is I do not think we played great yesterday and I don't think a draw was a good result for us
But if we make it to the world cup , I m just not as optimistic as others. Playing like that usually is a recipe for disaster
Im hopeful coach makes some changes , Get Wood in from the start and asks the mids or defense to get a clean ball to him. I m hopeful we do not get to see this kicking a long ball anywhere on the opposite side everytime we get the ball BS. Lets give the peruvian defenders some work.
B) the Confeds Cup games are glorified friendlies really. Not comparable in pressure to a WC qualifier
C) How can a scoreless home draw not be a good result in the first leg? A 1-goal win is only marginally better once you consider away goals, and only then because a scoreless draw in Peru would mean qualification rather than extra time. Did you expect us to win by 2 goals or more?
