Reg22 - what happened to wanting to win games?

What does this have to do with the issue at hand? We have more chance of winning by playing Durante than not given the players that have been sent away for a completely different issue.

reg22 - would the all blacks start a fijian in a test match to find out if he's allowed to play?

If that was the only way to sort his eligibility, then yes. They are into getting every ounce of off-field advantage they can.

reg22 - how do we know they won't deduct points?

They don't have a precedent to do so and the reaction would seem vastly over the top. They might also leave them self open to a legal challenge. I just don't see why they would do that.
