good play from vincent on the right, running hard
All Whites vs Thailand | Wed 19 Nov | 12.30am | SS2
boyd on for young wynn. three at the back?
We've had a ton of shots yet again. I guess we forgot our finishing boots this tour
This is what I worry about, when we get to the point where we are trying to qualify for the world cup we aren't going to get many chances. We need people who are more clinical in front of goal.
Remember the game in the world cup against Italy? One chance, one goal.
We need Smeltz mark two.
Goodnight.
Lol fuck we are shit. Bed time.
worse than Rikki era night night
Gleeson needed to hold that. Once again Thai's taking their chances. Us less so ..
worse than Rikki era night night
With ricki when we last played thailiand we lost 3-1
brockie is about as angry as i am right now
This is disgusting to watch!
good clearance T-Payne
Until we learn to bury sitters we are going to be shite.
How many clear cut chances have we butchered in these two games??
Barbs particularly needs to learn to shoot.
genuinly shit, there might be a few honiara's to come
storm roux off for keat
Watching this on live stream.....here in Thailand. Maybe Hudson is only good with words. This side is just like any other past NZ team....there is nothing new here at all .....and I've been following NZ football since 1969
so fn comical... cant believe I got up and stayed up for this shite.
Players need to look at themselves in a big way. Really hope Hudson gives them a massive serve publicly (something Ricki never did)
It needs to be called how it is!
at the moment we are playing three central strikers in wood, vincent and brockie. All three are making the same runs and getting in each others way.
also none of them are tracking back. therefore we are getting dominated across the pitch
Should be about 5-0 to Thailand.
Should be about 5-0 to Thailand.
shoould be about 5-3. but yes
Smith is losing the plot... atleast it looks like he gives a shit!!!

Maybe. But he has been pretty poor to say the least.
Not good.
That would have to be the worst loss I have witnessed as a NZ supporter.
The debacle in the Solomon's was poor, but the result of poor planning etc.
Everything was in place for this game...apparently... simply disgusted.
Boy that was a tough watch. Really struggling to think of any positives from that. Lacked any composure when Thailand started to get on top.
What the fuck was that? Fucking Thailand. I'm not going to say another word about that utter shit. Memory wiped.
Its hard to wipe the memory when you have been watching NZ football as long as I have. Its a good job I can't understand a word of Thai when I go out among the local population tomorrow
That game was a disappointment, particularly after a promising performance against china earlier in the tour.
The key to this game was failing to score in the first 30 minutes, we had the upper hand and had the Thai's under the pump for the most part. Once they realised we couldn't scored in a brothel they grew in confidence and pushed forward more and more. Rojas going off also seemed to deeply effect our play, with the link between the defense and attack severed. The thai's continued to grow in confidence throughout the game.
Storm roux looked completely exposed for the second game running at right back, with the large amount of the Thai's attacks coming down his flank. It was a really poor performance from him.
Wood also seemed to die about the 60 minute mark and seems rediculous one footed for a premier league player (albiet from the bench)
Wee-mac also seemed to die in the last period when we completely lost shape.
In view of all the angst, one needs to recall that most of the Thai's opportunities came in the last 30 minutes. During this period our back four became something like Keat-smith-boxall- payne, which is absurd. Also our front three featured three central based strikers that persisted in making the same runs (brockie, vincent and wood), none of which tracked back in defense.
Football like life is about taking chances, and we sure as hell missed our opportunities which allowed the thais to grow in stature and confidence. I'm not trying to make excuses for a poor performance, but some rediculous coaching decisions were going on out there. Our structure was terrible at the end as we threw everything going forward, finishing with a 4 (full backs being DM)- ?(who knows what was going on in the middle) - 3(very central strikers on top of each other.
So for next time we need 1) man to put ball into net in an onside position, 2) maintain structure for 90 mins

They are in a good location (apparently) if a few players try to dispel that theory tonight
And Howieson, Mitchell, and Stevens.
Just woke up to see this result. At the very least this will make some who criticized games against the likes of Thailand and Malaysia realize we are not as shit hot as they thought we were.
Chris Wood was onside by miles. 8(
