I may just have to attend this.

Three for me, and two for them.

What time does this start? I might just come straight from the airport.
Wonder what Wynton thinks about importing players to improve the quality of competition in our own leagues
and naturalising them, as opposed to purely home grown.
And most importantly why was he named after a small town which is a 'rest room' stop on the bus route from Queenstown to Dunedin? Just curious.

Great stuff Matt... here's a question:

What key thing/s can the game in NZ learn from the 82 success to improve and grow the game on the back of the current exposure (whether or not we qualify)?

(ie: what must the game do to maximise this opportunity that perhaps wasn't done so well back in the early-mid 80's)

And - who was the most challenging/difficult/annoying defender you played against, and why?

Where's "BlattersBalls"?  If the Charlton shirt had my name all over it, surely this is his chance

hey I'm in London, but i would love to have some ask wynton, does he think the a-league is a good avenue for our top young players? or should they head overseas to lower league clubs in Europe/UK and tough it out?

also is there any possibility WYNERS program could be incorporated officially or not, into a type of youth academy system for the NIX? or a program which could assist the NIX in talent spotting
I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.

I've run that last one up the YF flagpole a couple of times in the past, but no one saluted.

A couple of questions for Wynton:

* Would he be willing to help in some way with the campaign by Terry, Tony and co to secure a long term contract for the Nix in the A-League? What could/would he offer and if not, why not?

Note: This may be no more than phone calls to people of influence in world football if FFA (facing Asian Federation resistance to the Nix continued presence in the A-League), are forced to go to FIFA for a decision.

*And does he think football in NZ should stay part of Oceania, or try to get into Asia?

Ask Rufer if he would consider running against the Asian Confederation  President?? Might help our predicament with the A League / Asian Champions League.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Ah yes, the rather inclusive, ever so welcoming President. Always interested in developing sport - not.

How many of the players WYNRS have produced have gone on to professional football.  I'm meaning produced, not attended a couple of one week courses when they were twelve (Marco, Chris Wood).

How many of those that have been placed by WYNRS in Germany, Japan or overseas ?

What if he's starting from Football Central - you just sent him to Newtown Park.

Well.... what a nut case Wynton is, hopefully I can get some of my video footage on youtube.

Scored the signed Chris Wood shirt from leg one in the charity auction, stoked as, good on him for giving away the shirt from such a bit game.

Also had a Rufer Kingz shirt and '82 World Cup magazine signed.

Photos to follow.

By the way respect to Oska (and family) for purchasing Chris Wood's #17 shirt from the Bahrain game in Manama in the charity auction.

A good investment I reckon.

Although Oska will have to grow into it...

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.
