Clayton from 'Tuned in' has given us a "Freeview" box at short notice to be able to show the game tomorrow.
4pm at the lounge.
If you have any TV probs, Clayton's your man. ( might get him on the Fevercard)!

Remembering fellas that the match is NOT on TV1 till 10pm. You need the freeview box to watch it live.

Just thought I would throw that in for those who were thinking of just heading home and watching the game after work.

who will be doing commentary for tv1? will the people doing it tommorow be the same as the guys that do the beckham game? i wouldnt imagine tv1 have a football commentator on the books, maybe john mcbeth or pj montcommentary will  be roped in. dewhurst making the media switch maybe?

2235 to be exact, according to the SKY schedule on their website. Having said that they have been known to be very very very wrong before. I don't think they've quite sorted out A-league time zones yet...

Because we want more people watching + playing the beautiful game in this country...By putting it on a free to air channel in a sports fan time slot you would get the most people watching it...

It was their media officer who told me the 6pm NZT kick-off after I emailed a couple of weeks back asking and pointing out that it should be on their site. Perhaps it got changed and they just haven't updated it.
 
It doesn't exactly engender a sense of professionalism on their part if it is wrong.

I don't think 10:30pm is a sports fan time slot

Why does the netball and things like that get put on live at 7:30pm? That is never delayed.

I tried calling radio Tarana http://www.tarana.co.nz/ in jafaland yesterday (no answer). Could there be a chance they will cover this game? I will try to contact them again today.

Just spoke to radio Tarana they say they are doing live coverage starting at 1600. Their frequency in Jafaland is 1386am. They are also doing a webcast. http://www.tarana.co.nz/
From what i have read this game kicks off at 16 00 Fiji time. We are one hour ahead of Fiji so it should start at 17 00. But remember this is Oceania so anything is possible.

so why do we need freeview to watch it... I remember freeview in the UK had extra chaneels compared to council housed TV but they were all on sky..

Jeez the coverage was poor (watched it on TV1 last night), 1 camera from 50 yards away, no replays - commentator spouting on on how great the town was for sugar cane production - numpty.

ps. Is it mostly Indian Fijians that play football?

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!
