Good posession in midfield, good ball forward to  near the corner, and put in a cross for a virtual tap-in.  Didn't really see any of us involved, which may have been the problem.

He was doubled-teamed big time with no chance of support.

He's got to move the ball quicker

Pretty hard when you've got nowhere to go. Mulligan wasn't particularly interested in supporting when he needed to.

And then stupidly rushed up when he had to hold the space.

As for Jimbo. Well...

Yep but it's a general point, he likes to take 4 or 5 touches and ends up under pressure

How can you blame mully for the first goal, he went into support his team mate who got caught in possession. Would you rather he watched... oh wait had they then scored we'd be saying he should of put pressure on and helped Smeltz.

Classic, you roll the 'r' in a very pronounced fashion in Spanish when you have 'rr'.  We have Andy Barrrrrrrrron.

That was classic example of a player lacking a football brain. When he needed to offer support to Smeltz he stood too far away for Smeltz to drop the ball back to him. When Smeltz was in the sh*ts and about to lose the ball, Mulligan stupidly rushes up (he's never gonna get there) and opens up a channel for them to get into a goal scoring opportunity. Sheer, sheer footballing stupidity.

Jimbo didn't cover himself in glory either though.

keeping a clean sheet during his run will have been good for paston and his confidence coupled with that good save.
